Come relax in the Modern Cabin. You're a few blocks from the Tammany Trace & walking/biking distance to the Abita Brewery tour, Downtown Abita Springs, and much more. The Cabin has a daybed with a Tempurpedic mattress, an air mattress (for up to 2 guests), Wifi, TV, a Countertop Burner for cooking/coffee, etc. There's so much to do in St. Tammany (all included in the guidebook) & the Cabin is central to everything. The main reason to book this listing is to be within walking/biking distance of Downtown Abita Springs, the Abita Brewery tour, the 32 mile Tammany Trace and being able to bike to Covington, Mandeville, and Slidell on it and to also have an easy drive to Global Wildlife Center, tubing down the Bogue Chitto River, hiking/mountain Biking in Bogue Chitto State Park, swimming at the beach or hiking at Fontainebleau State Park, etc. I'm available 24/7 should you need anything at all. I love hosting and want my guests to have the best trip possible. The cabin is in a country neighborhood that is partially wooded. There are over 100 things to do in the area and the main reason to book the cabin is for location. The neighbors are very friendly, very diverse, and are likely to talk to you which is basically a microcosm of South Louisiana culture. If you are uncomfortable with country neighborhoods, loud music, country noise, litter, and/or inebriated people (there are some cool, popular restaurants and bars close by in Downtown Abita), please consider if this cabin is right for you. You can walk and bike to a lot of places and never drive your car if you don't want to. While everything is thoroughly cleaned, there may be a small imperfection on a towel or blanket, in the paint or flooring, etc. The cabin is professionally photographed but it should be noted that it is a small shipping container cabin so please look at the photos closely and also note that there are large exterior doors on it that typically remain open while staying in the cabin while tempered doors act as the actual front door during your stay.
