Aloha! We are the new owners of Kona Reef D7. We need you, our first guests, to start us off with some 5-star reviews, so we are offering super-low summer rates! This beautifully updated unit is located in one of the most desirable complexes in Kona! Enjoy your morning cup of Kona coffee on the lanai as you watch for dolphins and listen to the waves. Stroll to nearby downtown or sun yourself at the oceanfront pool! The space Relax on your lanai and watch spinner dolphins, humpback whales (in season), surfers, stand-up paddlers, or just the mesmerizing waves! Visit amazing art galleries, protected snorkeling and year-round farmers markets that feature a brilliant array of unique local fruits and vegetables. Observe sacred green sea turtles and brightly colored tropical fish that abound in the underwater paradise while you settle into the slower island vibe. In the living room, the sofa has a pull-out bed perfect for couples or children. If you've had a long day enjoy the large smart tv or pop in a movie! The AC unit and many fans keep the unit cool on those hot and humid days or open the sliding door for an ocean breeze. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. A high-end refrigerator with ice dispensing in the door as well as a full range and oven gives the feeling of being at home. A dishwasher and a microwave are also part of the kitchen appliances. You can grind and brew that famous Kona coffee and enjoy the start of each day with a view of the blue Pacific Ocean. Get a good night's sleep in the bedroom with a comfortable queen bed. There is a large closet and The updated bathroom has an exceptionally tiled walk-in shower and a new granite countertop. Towels are provided, as well as a supply of shampoo, soap, and anything else you need. This is an ideal home for a stay of a few days to a month or more. We cannot wait to have you stay in our beautiful home in paradise! *PLEASE READ VERY CAREFULLY!* As a vacation rental host in Hawai’i, we required to collect taxes for reservation bookings the same way hotels are required to. The exact tax amount (4.75% Hawaii State General Excise Tax, 10.25% Hawaii Transient Accommodations Tax and 4% Hawaii County Transient Accommodations Tax totaling 18%). Once you book we will send you a message including the amount we will need to collect for these taxes. We will not need to receive payment until the day of your booking for this. Guest access You could not ask for a better location! The island is BIG and we recommend getting a rental car to fully enjoy everything the island has to offer. When you get your rental car we have plenty of unassigned parking around the unit! We are located just a block from downtown Kona. When you're ready for a sunset Mai Tai at Don's Mai Tai Bar, it's just a five-minute walk away! Enjoy all the great waterfront restaurants without having to fight for parking! You will also be centrally located to easily access many of the great beaches on the island with a short drive.
