1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment w full kitchen in Belchertown. Private bedroom sleeps 2. Futon in living area can sleep a 3rd. Perfect location if interested in exploring Western MA or looking for a spot to stay when visiting someone attending one of the local five colleges. 20 min to Northampton, 10 min to downtown Amherst, 15 min to UMass, 7 min to the popular wedding venue The Red Barn at Hampshire College.Within 30 min of Yankee Candle, amazing hiking, Mike's Maze, & apple picking.35 min to MGM The space This apartment includes a full kitchen, living area, one bedroom and one full bathroom (see below for specific room descriptions). It is located at the home of the host. There is a separate entrance to the apartment and this space is entirely yours. The bedroom is private and sleeps 2 comfortably. The apartment can house up to 3 individuals with the use of the pull out futon couch in the living area. Off street parking (in driveway) for up to 2 cars. Apartment has wifi and a smart tv with access to Spectrum/Cable, Hulu, and Netflix. ~Kitchen: Upon entering the apartment you will see a full kitchen consisting of a microwave, stove, oven, sink, refrigerator, coffee pot/maker, and a toaster. There is an eat-in table/added prep space with 3 chairs. Bring food back or cook in as the kitchen is stocked with essentials (utensils, knife set, plates, bowls, cups, pan, pot, etc). ~Living area: Off the kitchen is a living room area with sky light and ceiling fan where you will find a futon couch (can be utilized as a 2nd sleeping area), coffee table, Smart TV and TV stand. ~Private Bedroom: Separated from the living area by a door you will find the primary bedroom with a double bed, dresser, night stand, closet, and full length mirror. An A/C unit is placed in the window for summer months. ~Full bathroom: Off of the living room area/next to bedroom is a full bathroom with a walk in shower with sliding doors, toilet, vanity, towels, hair dryer, complimentary shampoo, conditioner and hand soap. We are close in location to the five colleges - great spot if you are looking for a place to stay when completing a college search or visiting a son, daughter, or friend attending UMass, Amherst, Hampshire or even Smith or Mt. Holyoke (15 minutes to UMass, 10 minutes to Amherst College, 10 minutes to Hampshire college, 20 minutes to Smith, and 20 minutes to Mt. Holyoke). Guest access This is an apartment located above our garage and entirely private. You have access to off street parking in the driveway for up to 2 cars. Other things to note You may occasionally hear us leave when we open the garage doors but we are respectful when we have guests and will park outside if necessary. We have central air/heat that has only one control for the entire home. We try to keep the property at a comfortable temperature. A window A/C unit is placed in the bedroom area in summer months to allow for an individual cooling option. Please note: there are stairs with one railing leading up to the apartment.
