It's all about location! Our charming, beachside cottage is just one house back from the most beautiful stretch of Kailua Beach. Step onto the sandy beach access from your private gate and enjoy the turquoise waters that Kailua Bay is famous for. Please reach out with your dates to see availability. The cottage is a spacious one bedroom, tastefully furnished in bright whites and neutrals, with the softest bamboo linen bedding, and cozy, stylish decor. The bedroom has a queen size bed with sitting area, and bathroom with a shower. We have a pack n play or blow up mattress available upon request. The kitchen/dining area is large with seating for 4. The kitchen is not a full kitchen, but we offer an air fryer and electric skillet, and microwave so you can pretty much cook anything you like. Other appliances can be provided upon request. The main living area has a cozy Pottery Barn couch and extra seating, with lots of extra room on the soft rug to lay out a yoga mat if you like to do your workout indoors. Your cottage is accessed from the driveway where you have your own parking space. Your entry door is on the opposite side of the main home, with a coded gate lock for added security. We are located in the neighborhood called "Beachside" and our home is on the main road that runs all the way down Kailua beach. Just a short stroll away is famous Kalapawai Market and Deli, as well as the beachside shops that have Bob's Pizza and Island Snow (the best shave ice!). You can also stroll or bike into Kailua town. Kailua has lots of great restaurants, shops, and beachy charm. The rental includes one bike, and we are in the perfect location to access the beach paths that run through the beach park. Kailua is also very walkable from our location. Kailua town is just a short walk or bike ride away, and you can walk to lots of restaurants, shops, other beaches, etc. We are the owners and live in the main house with our 3 young kids. We are available for anything you need during your stay like tips on restaurants or great places to visit. While the cottage is completely private and detached from the main home, it is adjacent to our front yard and pool, so if the sound of children playing at times is a deal breaker for you, we totally understand.
