Boat dock, covered pier, swimming False River Fun!

Dock your boat & relax with the whole family at peaceful, beautiful FatCat on False River! Boating, fishing and swimming from your private dock on the river! 31 miles to LSU. 2 person adult kayak, 2 youth kayaks and float pad available for your use. Assorted life jackets available. Relax on the covered porch, beautiful deck, FIRE PIT and covered pier. Lovely sunrises and sunsets. Ask about seasonal discounts. Pack and play/crib and highchair on site Pontoon boat on lift is NOT included The space Three bedroom two bath home on False River with deck, covered porch and covered pier. House is pier and beam construction therefore you have approximately five steps to walk up to reach the covered porch and front door. Bunk room can sleep four. Single top bunk (weight limit 165 pounds), double bunk below (300 pound maximum weight) and a trundle. You have access to the entire house, pier and yard. You also can enjoy a two person kayak, two youth kayaks, and a float pad. There is space and cleats to tie/dock your boat and lots of space for fishing. NO parties are allowed. No smoking inside the house. Pets allowed. Boat and jet ski rental available at Geaux Outdoors Guest access You have access to the entire property. The property ends on the outside, south west side, of the driveway. Please do not go beyond the driveway as it does not belong to me. No contact check-in. Keypad info provided once booking is confirmed. You DO NOT have access to the pontoon boat, which is in the boatlift. Video cameras on the outside of the house for security purposes. No cameras on the interior. Other things to note Ask us about seasonal discounts South Louisiana has an abundance of insects, particularly when one is this close to a lake. You most likely will encounter mosquitoes when outside. And, where there are mosquitoes, there are spiders. Snakes have also been seen. It is reported, as in most bodies of water in South Louisiana, there are alligators in False River. Please be aware that Fat Cat Lake House property only extends to the far side (south west side ) of the driveway.Please do not go beyond the edge of the driveway as I do not own that property. Assorted sizes of lifejackets are available in the bunk room closet. Have Children wear life jackets when near the water/on the pier and swimming. Life jackets should be worn when using kayaks or swimming in the lake. State law requires children under 16 to wear Lifejackets when on a watercraft. My 104 year-old uncle lives in the house across the street. If you see him… Please be kind. Also speak loudly. He has hearing issues. Boat and jet ski rentals on the lake at Geaux Outdoors There are several places to launch boats. My favorite is Morrison Parkway in downtown New Roads. Wide and free.
