The rea gate takes you to a private access otherwise, guests may walk (or drive) to the end of Highland to meet the trail head. - Gardens with perennials, fruit trees, and seasonal berries to pick and eat. - The backyard is South-West facing so you have plenty of light, with pretty sunsets. Location: - Highland is less than 5 minutes to the center of Great Barrington and walkable to town - about 15-20 minutes - 10 minutes to Ski Butternut and less than 15 to Ski Catamount. - less than 1/2 mile (and also walkable) to Lake Mansfield Park (another local favorite) for sandy beach swimming, play ground, charcoal grills, picnic tables, and a sweet hike. Parking available. - 25 minutes to Tanglewood ADDITIONAL INFO: - No smoking - Well behaved, house trained dogs are welcome with a paid pet fee - No events or parties - Adult groups must all be at least 25 years old to book.
