A Magical Spot on Little Robin Lake

A quiet, secluded house in the forest with fireplace and jacuzzi on a clean swimmable lake near Jacob's Pillow and other Berkshires attractions. The space 2 Bedroom house on a half acre on beautiful clean lake. We just upgraded our wifi and now get 22 Mbps so now there is good wireless internet. There is also a washer-dryer, large deck and sunroom. The original house was a single story open plan. We added a second floor which includes a spacious queen bedroom and a fireplace as well as a spacious bathroom with granite counter tops and a large Kohler jacuzzi. There is a memory foam 3 inch topper to the bed for extra comfort. The downstairs has two bedrooms with full size beds in each and closet. There is an additional bathroom downstairs with shower. We also added a beautiful sunroom with a full futon couch. The downstairs has a wood burning stove for a cozy night indoors. Upstairs there is a fireplace. The downstairs is also open and spacious with wood floors, the kitchen and upstairs are furnished. We just renovated the downstairs bathroom and it has an enclosed glass shower big enough for two. The lake is clean and very nice for swimming. We have 2 canoes but the walk down to the lake is steep. You can use these for a $25 each daily fee. There is a sandy beach across the way that you can walk to from the house for an easy way into the water. Don't go into the water from the property as it is muddy and slippery. The beach across the lake is private and has sand all the way into the water. The house is 5 minutes from Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, 15 minutes from the Dream Away Lodge (quite the nightspot! with live music and great food and ambiance) 25 minutes from Shakespeare and Co and Tanglewood. The house is in a forest and prone to visitations from wild critters. Be sure not to leave any food outside and put all your food away at night and not on the counters in the kitchen. The fridge is the best place to store food. Put the fire out completely before leaving the fire pit by the lake. Field mice are everywhere including in the house sometimes, but they are friendly and non-toxic. You may hear them occasionally but they are docile and keep to themselves. Just don't feed them or they will want to be your roommate. The forest can be dangerous to small animals so consider leaving your pets at home. The house is down a steep hill which is great because you will never hear cars drive by. But you will probably need all wheel drive to get up and down. Consider parking at the top and walking down. Anyway it's good exercise. Guest access The jacuzzi ( lift the lever in the tub to open and close the drain) the lakeside fire pit the lake for swimming around the bend Other things to note We do not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. Make sure you use the fan above the stove so the smoke alarm does not go off. If it does, the alarm company will dispatch the firefighters to the house. To the right of the stove in the upper cabinet, there are instructions on how to deal with the alarm if it goes off. There is no trash removal in the forest. You must bag your trash and dispose of it elsewhere. Treat this situation like "Glamping". Carry in and carry out. There are mice in the forest and they will come inside the house if they smell food. Please keep food in sealed containers or in the fridge. There is a queen bed upstairs. Downstairs are two bedrooms each with a full size bed.
