A short walk away from many attractions such as beaches, museums, bike trails, Historic buildings, shops and great restaurants. The space This property is located in the heart of historic Sandwich Village. Your rental is the Chapouil Cottage (1857) at 18 Jarves street, Sandwich MA 02563. The Village is the center of the original & oldest township settlement on Cape Cod (1637) incorporated in 1639. Short walks around the village bring you to numerous food and beverage establishments such as Beth's bakery and cafe, Belfry inn and bistro, Dan'l Webster inn, the Brown Jug, the Dunbar tea shop and others as you explorer sandwich further. If history is what you are looking for, you have many options.... Start with the world renown Sandwich Glass Museum filled with amazing history of Deming Jarves and the Sandwich Glass Factory that originally operated and thrived less then a mile from our charming cottage. Heritage museum and Gardens is a great spot for exploring Mother Nature with their beautiful walking trails and gorgeous flora. We have many historical landmarks here in sandwich The Hoxie House (oldest house on cape cod) the Griss Mill circa 1640... still working today. We have the iconic Sandwich Boardwalk that is less than a mile away, there you can walk along the boardwalk to the beach or you could choose to jump off the boardwalk and climb up the ladder or you could float the creek like many of the people you will encounter down there are doing. Please take advantage of Ecotourz this is a company we own that provides kayak rentals and tours on mill creek (where the boardwalk is) right down the road we also offer SUP rentals and on a limited basis bike rentals .
