Enjoy your own lakefront house in the quietest part of Lake Hopatcong. Our home is luxuriously equipped, peaceful while centrally-located, with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. It is very kid friendly and accessible, as there are only three steps down from the private parking. Most other lakefront houses have literally 30+ steps! One tandem kayak, two seats canoe, as well as enough life-vests for the whole family are provided. Can sleep up to 9 adults. Our home has been recently fully renovated: Indulge yourself in the en-suite master bath with walk-in glass shower and beautiful freestanding soaking tub (we provide the bath gels!). On the top floor you will also find a second spacious bedroom with king size bed, and beautiful views of the lake. The third room (originally the kids room) has a bunk bed, a teepee tent and a selection of books for all ages (+ lake view and kids seating area). The bedroom on the main floor (1st floor) has a day bed that can be converted to a trundle — 2x twin size beds, and is super accessible next to the living room. The HVAC system has been upgraded in 2022, and now boasts efficient Heating and Air Conditioning via central air, all controlled by a Nest thermostat (photo on listing showing window AC unit is outdated). -Kid and Infant-friendly: As a dad of two myself, I understand the need of those essentials while traveling and am providing at the house a pack-and-play bed (for up to 2years old), booster seats, wall outlet covers, kids books, among others. -Work efficiently from home with our Fiber Optimum Internet tested at 400+Mbps. Ergonomic chair and laptop desk are located in the bedroom adjacent to the living room. -Stream all your favorite channels on the 80" HDTV (bring your own login) -Board games and life size games are provided to keep everyone in the family entertained. Many activities throughout the seasons: -Spring/Summer: Swim, Fish, Canoe, Kayak, Rent or bring your own boat for some lake fun! Also water skiing, pontoons, jet skis can be rented at the marinas. -Autumn: Canoe, Kayak, enjoy the changing colors of foliage, evenings drinks over the firepit. -Winter: Ice fishing, Ice skating, Mountain Creek ski resort within 40min. ***Please note the awning on the outdoor patio has been removed, and is out of function currently. ***There are 4 stone steps with no railing to get into the house. Please be cautious when coming in from the parking. Caution: Please be aware that NO SMOKING is allowed, and we will assess a $250 fine for any violations. Expansive yard + dock and lake access. --> Feel free to bring your own boat (please give us a heads up). There is an exclusive “no-wake” restriction for any motorboats in that part of the lake in front of the house, and up to 200’ after the bridge, so you can relax and enjoy your vacation in peace (the other part of the lake can get noisy especially during the summer months). You can easily join the adjacent body of water by crossing under the bridge (which is an adventure in itself!) where all the fun and party usually takes place, without disturbing your loved ones resting at home. Our home is within walking distance to many shops and restaurants, including Patrick's Pub, and Lake Vue Deli Our house is located in a quiet cul de sac, yet within walking distance to a couple restaurants and a grocery store/deli. You will need to drive to reach most other destinations. Hitch on a water taxi (only runs in the warmer months) that will take you to the many waterside restaurants and bars on the lake.
