Whether you've come to explore the west coast of Maui or simply do nothing at all, this is a setting that makes either choice feel like the right one.   Outdoor living The resort sits right at the water's edge, with beach access just steps away for morning walks or a quick dip in the surf. A pool on-site gives you another spot to cool off and linger in the warmth of the Hawaiian sun. Come evening, the lanai becomes the place to be - glass of wine in hand, watching the horizon shift from blue to gold as the day winds down.   Kitchen & dining The fully equipped kitchen means you can cook at your own pace using fresh picks from the farmers market just down the road. You'll find a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster, along with cooking basics - pots, pans, oil, salt and pepper - plus dishes and silverware so nothing is missing. A grocery store across the street makes stocking up quick and easy.   Interior comforts The open studio layout makes good use of every square foot. A dedicated workspace and free Wi-Fi keep you connected if needed, while a TV with standard cable is there when you want it. Ceiling fans and ocean breezes keep the space comfortable throughout your stay - note that there is no air conditioning. A BBQ grill is also available for those who'd rather cook outdoors under the open sky.   Sleeping arrangements The studio sleeps up to 3 guests across 2 beds. Bed linens and essentials - towels, soap, and toilet paper - are provided, along with hangers, an iron, and a hair dryer so you can pack light and settle in fast.   Bathroom The bathroom includes a bathtub, hot water, hair dryer, and shampoo - everything you need to rinse off after a day in the ocean and recharge for whatever comes next.   Location Kahana's neighborhood rewards those who step outside. Maui Brewing Co., Miso Phat Sushi, The Beach House Bar & Grill, Dollie's Café & Pub, and China Boat are all within walking distance, alongside Village Coffee for your morning latte and Women Who Run with the Wolves for one-of-a-kind island finds. A nearby farmers market rounds out the local scene with fresh tropical produce. A laundromat is also nearby for longer stays. Paid parking is available off premises, and self check-in with a keypad means you can arrive whenever it suits you. Guest access 3pm check in time. Use elevator or stairs to access front door.
