Walking distance to many restaurants, bars, entertainment, and is close to several of the main festivals that occur in downtown Lafayette. If you’re visiting for one of those events, you know how crucial private off-street parking is, and you can fit two mid-sized cars in our driveway. One block away from Festival International, Mardi Gras and so much more. The space Lots of historic charm in this early twentieth century home, including hardwood floors throughout, historic hardware, and built-in curio cabinets.Windows that provide brilliant natural light throughout. The kitchen has been recently updated with new custom built cabinets and new appliances including the gas stove, dishwasher, and refrigerator, and it is fully stocked with cookware, dishes, microwave, kettle, and coffee maker. The dining area has a cute retro dining table and chairs that seats 6. The primary bedroom suite is spacious and contains a king sized bed private bathroom with a closet. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and closet. Both bedrooms have new comfortable beds with mattress, protectors and soft linens and smart TVs. The living room has a pull-out sofa that sleeps two, additional seating, and a Roku flat screen TV. Both bathrooms have soft towels and shampoo/soap. In the hall, you’ll find a full size washer and dryer with detergent. Central air conditioning and heating throughout. The front porch spans the length of the house and has seating for enjoying a morning cup of coffee or a warm cajun country evening. The mostly fenced in backyard has a patio and additional seating. Guest access Whole home including front and back porch with a mostly fenced in yard. Other things to note For your safety and mine there are smart doorbell cameras on the front and back porch facing out from each entrance. There is a step up from the living room into the dining area about 6 inches high. Please feel free to use your own login credentials for your TV and streaming needs. Don’t forget to logout when you depart. Bluetooth speaker located on fireplace mantle. First aid kit located under the sink in the bathroom off the hall. The train tracks wind near the house so you will hear some occasional trains. We provide earplugs for our sound sensitive guests.
