The House Among Trees is a tranquil property in the Berkshires. This mid-century 3-bedroom home is equipped with all amenities to offer a truly relaxing stay. During the colder half of the year, enjoy winter sports nearby and then step into your own private Sauna to decompress. Enjoy amazing restaurants, antique shops, hiking trails. Visit Tanglewood, Jacob's Pillow, Hancock Shaker Village and other cultural centers. We'll be happy to provide recommendations based on your interest. The space The house is built in 1977 and carries some of the mid century flavor of clean lines and the charm of natural materials. With skylights in the living room and plenty of windows throughout the house, you feel one with nature that surrounds the house. The grounds are plentiful with tall evergreens. Enjoy the sauna or take a walk down the path to the clearing downhill. Start a fire in the pit, roast marshmallows and gaze at the stars. Being at this beautiful mountain side offers year-round hiking opportunities. The interior of the house has 2 floors. The first floor has a large combined living and dining area, furnished with a modern yet cozy feel. The kitchen is right off the dining area. The master bedroom is located downstairs and has a queen bed, a desk, a leather chair, and a lounge chair if you want some alone time to read. The second floor has two bedrooms and a small bathroom. The smaller bedroom has a queen bed with plenty of closet space. The larger bedroom has a bunk bed and a walk in closet. The room has a single box-like seat that converts into a single bed. You can play some games: ping-pong, badminton, bocce ball. Guest access We have few personal items tucked away in drawers-the rest of the house(excluding items in the basement) is yours.
