Live the life of a New Orleans native in this magnificent house that mixes old world charm with modern luxuries, our guests rave that it's better than a boutique hotel! The Canal Street Ferry is a block away and brings you to the middle of the French Quarter, making it an easy walk to all attractions and restaurants. Unwind on the back porch while watching boats on the Mississippi River in our safe and quaint neighborhood. Algiers Point the 2nd oldest neighborhood in the city! The house is 1700 sq ft with central air/heat, washer & dryer, stainless appliances, private master suite with double shower, 2 additional bedrooms(full size bed, two twin beds), a full bath with a relaxing Jacuzzi tub, and a beautiful back yard with an outside dining area and view of down town. There is a private driveway. Although, you don’t need a car as the Ferry to down town New Orleans is a block away! From there you can walk or catch a street car trolley to the Convention Center, City Park, Uptown, or other attractions! WiFi is included. The whole house, including the beautiful back porch and side yard. Would love to offer recommendations on entertainment or meals! New Orleans’ second oldest neighborhood, Algiers Point is populated with turn-of-the-century homes, some dating back to the 1840s. Coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and local artisan shops are all just a couple blocks away. It is easy to spend a day or two exploring our safe, family friendly neighborhood. The best part, it is a quick 10 minute ferry ride that drops you off in the middle of the French Quarter where you can explore all New Orleans has to offer. No car needed for this trip! The cost of the ferry is $2 per person, each way. If you prefer, Uber is a 15 minute ride to down town.
