Our spacious 1400 sq. ft. home, newly built in 2021, offers a comfortable and stylish retreat for up to 11 guests. Living & Entertainment: *Open-concept living area with stunning ocean views. *Large Smart TV with an Xbox game console. *A wide selection of board games and card games for family fun. Kitchen & Dining: *Large, modern kitchen with quartz countertops and custom cabinets, fully equipped for entertaining. *Full-size refrigerator, oven with range, and dishwasher. *Ninja Space-Saver Airfryer/toaster oven. *Dining table for 8, plus three stools at the kitchen island. *Extensive Coffee Bar: Drip coffee pot, French press, pour-over, AeroPress, bean grinder, espresso machine, and a hot water pot. Bedrooms & Bathrooms (Sleeps 11): All bedrooms feature new memory foam mattresses and smart TVs. The home has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms with modern bidet toilets. *Master Bedroom: King bed, 47" smart TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower and laundry facilities. *Bedroom 2 (Bunk Room): One full-over-twin bunk bed and one twin-over-twin bunk bed (sleeps 5), plus a 37" smart TV. *Bedroom 3: Queen bed and a 42" smart TV. *Living Room: The sofa converts to a Queen-size pullout bed. Hawaii TAT# TA-104-712-7552-01 Guest access You will have access to the entire main hale (house) during your stay. Please park on the concrete parking area on the side of house between the house and water catchment tank. You are allowed to have 2 (two) cars on property during your stay. Please do not park behind the house or on the street. Other things to note In the traditional Hawaiian style, there is no AC built into the house. The temps at 3600' elevation range from 55-85 degrees F all year long... and there is normally a breeze. SO, if it's HOT: open the window. If it's COLD: grab a blanket. (Note: there is a small heater unit built into the wall by the fridge, I've only ever used this once. If you do turn this on, please ONLY USE IT when you are in the main area, and turn it off when you leave. Energy in Hawaii is the MOST EXPENSIVE in the world. All toilets are modern and have a bidet, we kindly request that you DO NOT flush any toilet paper or personal products, please put all paper products in the small cans next to toilet and empty those as needed to the large can outside. 40% of Hawaii Island is on a catchment water supply, rainwater collected and run through a series of filters and a UV light system. So the water at the tap is highly filtered, clean and fully drinkable. Enjoy! We've stayed all over Hawaii island before we purchased our home...we loved the South side of the island the most. We price our home to encourage folks to find and enjoy something different, away from: *Kona Heat *Hilo Rain *Overcrowded with people (kona and hilo) *Ridiculous vacation rental prices (our prices are much less than Kona prices...and our house is nearly brand new!) If you choose to stay with us you have access to 2 grocery stores (less than 5 miles down the hill from the house), 3 gas stations, a coffee shop, pizza, bbq, kai Loki's bar & grill, an Ace hardware...and crazy awesome views of the ocean as far as you can see!
