Short walk to downtown Harlan with restaurants, shops, bars, movie, etc. Nicely furnished main level has 2 bedrooms with queen beds, large kitchen/dining/living, laundry, & bath. Walk-out deck. 2 desks for remote workers. Large carpeted basement, not yet completely finished & furnished, has 2 double beds, new bedroom with 1 queen bed & new bathroom. Egress windows for safety & light. Two refrigerators in home. Big garage with new ping-pong table. The space Easy-access main level is fully & nicely furnished. The living area has a large screen T.V. with a very comfortable reclining couch, a single pull-out sofa sleeper & a desk for remote workers. The large, well-equipped kitchen/dining area has a nice walk-out deck on the east with outdoor furniture and fire table, shady on summer afternoons. The two bedrooms on the main level have queen beds & the larger room has a t.v. and desk. Newly remodeled bathroom on main level has a shower with seat. The main level laundry room has a new w/d & an extra refrigerator. There is a very large & carpeted basement. It is not yet completely finished or fully furnished, but it does have one queen and two double beds for extra sleep space. Lower level also has a newly remodeled bathroom. There is a large fenced back yard, but no pets allowed. Guest access Access with door code and guests will have use of the entire house--both of the finished main level and of the unfinished lower level. Guests may park on one side of the large two-car garage, and may play ping-pong on the other side. There is a large fenced yard behind the house, but no pets are allowed. Other things to note Easy walking distance to historic downtown Harlan and to the shops, restaurants, etc. Harlan also has a large and very good, well-equipped fitness center with an indoor pool, a hospital, great parks, & an outdoor public pool. Nearby Prairie Rose State Park has fishing, camping, and a swimming beach. There are many other things of interest to see and do in this area. You can hike the beautiful Loess Hills of western Iowa, visit nearby vineyards and wineries, shop for antiques in nearby Walnut, see the Danish Immigrant Museum, and much more. I love Omaha's world-class zoo, just one hour away.
