Tropical Forest Retreat

Two bedroom apartment located in a native Hawaiian forest. You will hear sounds of nature :) Less than 15 minutes from town but located at 2200 ft above sea level so you can escape the heat of down town. Due to severe allergies we are unable to host animals. Must use phone navigation as we are in a rural area. Please read all listing details. The space Our 2 Bedroom / 1 Bathroom Apartment is the downstairs unit & has it's own private entrance with a designated parking area directly outside. Primary bedroom & 2nd bedroom both have queen size beds. 2nd bedroom does not have a window to exterior (but only louvered window to living room). Apartment includes a private bathroom (toilet, shower & sink) as well as a full kitchen. Please note that bathroom has a louvered door which some previous guests mentioned. Separate cottage listing located on same property that can sleep an additional 2 guests (please check availability). ***We kindly ask you to throughly review all listing details (prior to booking) to ensure the listing is a good fit for you =) Guest access This listing is for a 2 bedroom / 1 bathroom apartment which is a downstair unit. Please note there is another rental on the property & guests do not have access to the entire property, but just to the apartment and the immediate area surrounding it. This is a safe property located behind a property gate. Beyond the gate is a shared driveway and out of respect for our neighbors privacy we kindly ask guests not to walk this shared driveway. Other things to note Due to severe allergies we are unable to host any animals. No smoking on the property. Only registered guests are allowed on property. Hawaii has high humidity, this location is in a tropical rainforest so there is a lot of moisture. For your comfort there are dehumidifiers in the closets that can be used during the day to dry out the apartment. In order to be effective you simply need to close the windows and turn them on. Summer is our rainy season in Hawaii when you’ll experience more rain showers. ***IRONMAN- bikes can be kept on the covered sidewalk below the rental (outside) not inside the house. These conditions may lead to damaged powerlines or debris flying onto powerlines, which increases the risk of a fire starting. We are not able to offer discounts or refunds for poor weather, natural disasters, or situations out of our control. Please do not book unless you find these terms acceptable.
