Unwind in the comfortable living space and savor the fully equipped kitchen. *Elevator is currently not working and we are on the third floor. This one bedroom is located on the third floor of the apartment complex Hale Makalei. The unit is on the smaller side, approximately 436 sq ft and comes with a small lanai overlooking Kawainui marsh, the Ko'olau's and Olomana. Washer dryer in unit. Fully equipped kitchen, no dishwasher. The only inaccessible area is the rooftop. Feel free to reach out if you need any help during your stay! This up and coming area of Kailua is continuously growing. Coffee shops, restaurants, and boutique shops are just a couple of blocks away and the main town center is about a 10 minute walk away. Exploring the town is very accessible on foot or by bicycle. Kailua beach is about a 10-15 minute bicycle ride away or 5 minute car ride. Lanikai beach is just a little bit further away. Secure covered parking stall available. However, the parking garage is tight and requires a little bit of maneuvering and the stall is compact. There is also plenty of free street parking nearby. Coffee shops (Cafe Kopi, Chad Lou, and Solar Shack) and restaurants (Mokes, Beet Box Cafe, Kailua Pub & Grill, Casablanca, Kalapawai) are just a few blocks away. Kailua Town Center is about a 10 minute walk away. Exploring the town is very accessible on foot or by bicycle and the beach is about a 10-15 minute bicycle ride away. Parking: We have one parking stall on-site. It's located in a covered and gated area. However, the parking lot is VERY tight and requires a bit of "finesse" and the stall itself is on the smaller side. There is also street parking available as well. Unfortunately our elevator is down until further notice. Living in Hawaii it takes a lot longer for parts to get here. My husband and I would be happy to meet you when you check in/out to help you with your bags since we are on the third floor. We apologize for the inconvenience.
