Downtown Dahlias

We are located 40 miles north of Boston, in the heart of historic Gloucester. This newly renovated home is perfectly nestled between a flower shop and a fabulous coffee shop. We are walking distance to downtown, unique shops, galleries, museums, amazing restaurants, local live music, the boulevard, the ocean and more. We are within a 5-minute drive to any beach on the island, and a short walk to take the train to Beverly, historic Salem or head into Boston for the day! The space This newly renovated from top to bottom home was built in the early 1900s, and is located in the heart of Downtown Gloucester. Formerly a barn, the previous owners turned it into a house, and the house next to it, they turned into a flower shop. Hence our fabulous name: Downtown Dahlias (expect flowers during your stay). The main level has an updated, fully stocked kitchen, with an open concept into the living room. The living room has an electric fireplace, 60” flat screen tv this is a smart tv, 2 love seat couches and a full sized screen slider with walk out to a side patio/deck. With beautiful gardens. You will see us watering the gardens daily but we will never disturb you. There is also a washer and dryer on this main level for your use. The 2nd level has 3 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom. The master bedroom has a vaulted ceiling, a queen bed, pull out chair that turns into a single bed. , closet, plenty of storage. The other 2 bedrooms have full sized bed and a queen bed and plenty of storage. Linens, bedding and towels are provided during your stay. The home has central a/c, wifi, a smart-tv, games, books and more. The bathroom is fully tiled with walk in shower, large mirror, and granite countertop. The bathroom has bath towels, hair dryer and straightener. We are walking distance to downtown, unique shops, galleries, museums, amazing restaurants, local live music, the boulevard, the ocean and more. We are within a 5-minute drive to any beach on the island, and a short walk to take the train to Beverly, historic Salem or head into Boston for the day! We have a shared driveway with the flower shop. You will have one off street parking spot but there is lots of off street parking in the area. Downtown Dahlias is the place to stay with your family to walk to it all. Guest access You have access to the entire house except the basement. Other things to note With our beautiful gardens on the property we will be watering them once a daily but we will never disturb you and your guest
