There is a swim beach near by. Concerts at Abayance Bay Marina, Restaurant & Event Center, which is walking distance. -There are two Master Bedrooms each with King beds and their own bathroom. -There are two other bedrooms, each with two Queen beds. -If guests need to spread out, there is an additional extra-large adult cot. Plus, the couch can accommodate a tall person, and the futon can accommodate a short person, however one needs to provide their own bedding for the cot, couch and futon. There is a smart TV for streaming shows/movies. There is a good selection of free shows/movies. For paid shows/movies, please use your own streaming subscription. There are 3 desks, 2 with a monitor for doing remote work. One can use WIFI or direct connect to the router. There is also a printer/copier. - There is a NEMA 14-50 240V 50 Amp outlet for RV/Electric vehicle charging (just bring your proper adapter for NEMA 14-50 outlet & long enough cable to reach your vehicle. The outlet is located at the front of the garage. ) - The "Pacific North West Trail", which follows along the Lake Koocanusa shore line. About 5 minute walk from the house. Great for hiking and mountain biking. - During June to Sept, Abayance Bay Marina normally has multiple concerts scheduled, which one can enjoy. Located west of Eureka, walking distance to Abayance Bay Marina on Lake Kookanusa and the town of Rexford. Multiple golf courses in close proximity, most notably the Wilderness Club, Montana's #1 ranked course. The Abayance Bay has events posted on their website. The Abayance Bay Marina has a restaurant, and rents boats, jet skis, kayaks, paddle boards, water skis/tubes. The driveway is about 45' long, however only about 20' closest to the garage is fairly level. The driveway then slopes down towards the street. So, you may want to bring some leveling blocks, if the trailer needs to stay more level. The height of the bottom of the deck is about 12'. The driveway can fit between 4 and 6 vehicles, depending on the size of the vehicles. Plus, there is room for about 3 vehicles on the street in front of the house. The garage is currently not available to the guests. There are animals like deer and turkeys in the area. - Concerning outdoor games, there is a bag toss game. Plus, there is a hammock. - There are multiple mountain bikes (both man and woman styles). One would need to supply their own helmet. - There is one paddle board and 4 kayaks. Since they are a little heavy, one would want to strap them one at a time to a padded roof and slowly drive them down to the boat launch. There are pool noodles, and rope available, which one could use to cushion the stand-up board or kayak on one's vehicle roof. One is required to wear a life jacket, which are in one of the closets. For the Kayaks and stand-up board it is recommended to use the camp ground boat ramp, since there are far fewer boats and that area is much better protected from wind. - There are two fishing poles, however one would need to buy the hooks/spinners/weights/etc to attach to the line from the Marina or fish shop or bring your own. - The Marina also rents powered boats and possibly jet skis as well. - The camp ground on the North side of Rexford has a swim beach and also a boat launch. If it is not totally calm, then one wants to launch the kayak or paddle board from the camp ground boat launch. On a calm day one can paddle from one boat ramp to the other boat ramp. Some fun things to do in the area, which are unique to this area: - The "Pacific North West Trail", which follows along the Lake Koocanusa shore line. About 5 minute walk from the house. Great for hiking and mountain biking. - Stonehenge Air Museum, which also has a unique golf course. - Rexford Bench Swim Beach, which also has a boat ramp with access to Lake Koocanusa and Tobacco River. Great place for Kayaking and Standup-Boards. - The Koocanusa Sand Dunes and Trail System is a hidden gem in Montana, offering an exhilarating off-road experience. Located in the northwestern corner of the state near the Canadian border, this expansive off-road playground spans over 20 miles of diverse trails, showcasing a mix of sand dunes, forests, and winding roads. - The Abayance Bay Marina has many music concerts during the summer. There is an Event Center, where one can get married as well with beautiful Lake and Mountain back grounds. NOTE: Concerning RV/Electric vehicle charging: - Please bring your proper adapter to fit a NEMA 14-50 outlet, since no adapters are supplied. Plus, bring a long enough cable to reach from the outlet to your vehicle. The outlet is located at the front of the garage. - Please look at the NEMA 14-50 plug-in pictures to get a better idea of what you will need to bring for the adapter plug-in. The guest will receive a door lock code to enter the property before check-in. If the guest does not receive a code before 4 hours before check-in, then the guest should reach out to the host for the code. We are normally available by phone/text, when we are not hiking, biking, skiing, boating, sleeping, or having a romantic dinner. An all season area with boating, fishing, sledding, skiing, hiking, golfing, mountain biking and road biking. Also close to snowmobile areas. One can have more fun at the Abayance Bay Marina, Restaurant, and Event Center, which is walking distance. Events can be scheduled via the Abayance Bay company. There is a swim beach by the Bench boat ramp about 5 minute drive or bike there with the mountain bikes. - Parking is on the driveway. - One can walk/bike to the Marina/Lake or to the town of Rexford. - One can drive/bike to the swim beach next to the Bench boat ramp. About 5 minute drive or 10 minute bike. $100 extra pet fee per pet per stay. Plus additional $100 cleaning charge, if droppings are not picked up and properly disposed of. The extra pet money goes to the cleaning staff, since they need to do extra cleaning work for dogs and dog hair, since some guests are allergic to dogs. - There is a dog run line in the back yard that a dog leash can be attached to. - Please never leave dogs alone in the house! - Please avoid leaving dogs alone outside for very long! - Please do not let dogs use the deck as a dog run. - Dogs should always be on a Leash outside. - Dogs should not chase animals like deer. - Dogs should not be allowed to bark outside during quite hours 10pm-6am.
