This spacious private room is a fantastic space for your stay in Boston. Comfortably sleeps two with a luxurious, brand-new queen size bed & lots of special design touches. As you arrive, your room will be waiting for you. This room is on the 2nd floor. Please note that you're renting a SINGLE PRIVATE BEDROOM within a larger house. You'll have a secure lock and a key for your own bedroom, so you can lock it when you leave for the day (or when you're there). All of the common areas are available for your enjoyment. The living room and coffee corner provide a great place to relax after a day of exploring Boston, connect with other guests that may be staying at the same time, or just read a book on a couch. Our kitchen is available to all of our guests. You can use the fridge and all of the appliances while you're here as well! There are 2 full and one half bathrooms in the house which are cleaned each day as well. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: 1. What linens are included? We provide all linens for beds, including 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels per bedroom. 2. What household supplies are provided? We provide shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. Toilet paper and hand soap are also provided. Additionally, you can also find paper towels in the kitchen, dishwasher detergent and dish soap. 3.What does the kitchen include? The kitchen is stocked with everything you would expect in a normal kitchen: toaster, microwave, fridge, oven, stove, various size pots & pans, kettle. We do have a Keurig coffee machine, although we do not provide the K-Cups (guests are welcome to bring their own). 4. Do you allow pets? No We do not allow pets under any circumstances. 5.What time is check-in and check-out? You can check in any time after 4:00 PM and you must check-out no later than 11:00 AM. In case you are arriving late, it’s not a problem -- as it’s self check in, you can come at any time as long as it’s after 4:00pm. 6. Is an early check in possible? We don’t allow earlier check-ins as we do need time to prepare the house before your arrival. 7.What does “private room” mean? You are booking a private bedroom inside a shared house. We do have other rooms in the house that are also rented to other Airbnb guests, so there will be other people in the house during your stay. Common facilities, such as bathrooms and kitchens, are all shared. 8.How many bathrooms are in the house? We have 3 - two full baths upstairs and one half bath downstairs. 9.How often are the common areas cleaned? Every day. Our housekeeper arrives daily to clean and sanitize the common areas of the house. 10.How fast is the internet? Our download speed is as fast as 175Mbps. The service is super reliable and the wifi reaches all areas of the house including all bedrooms. We have had a lot of guests that are travelling for work and they do their work from home with no issues. 11. Do you offer laundry? No, we do have laundry machines in the house but they are only available for housekeepers' use, as we do the laundry for all the bedding there. You can find several laundromats within walking distance of the house. Once you book and if you need the location, I can share it with you. 12.How does the parking work? We do have free street parking around, but you have to look at the signs. A couple of blocks away, you’ll find signs that offer free unlimited non-resident parking after 8pm and on weekends, as well as 2-hour free parking during regular hours. Please note that guests park at their own risk. Over 50% of our guests arrive with a vehicle and it’s typically no problem. If you are not comfortable parking on the street or cannot find a spot, there are paid parking lots available within walking distance. 13. Is my room safe? Absolutely, your room will have a lock so you can close and lock it when you leave or while you’re in the room. If you need anything, we’re just a message away. Fast Wi-Fi available, so you can catch up with friends or on work at any time. A fully featured kitchen is available at your disposal. Great opportunity to relax, have a snack or meet other guests. Keurig K-Cup coffee machine. Access to the fridge. Private shelf space offered for each room. Two and a half shared bathrooms are available in the apartment. Two of them feature a full size shower. Comfortable living room area with games and books for your enjoyment. Relax on the couch after a day of exploring the city. Everything is brand-new, modern and very comfortable. Necessities, like fresh towels and linens are provided upon arrival. Additionally, toiletries like shampoo and body wash are provided free of charge. We offer self check-in and self check-out for your convenience. However, we're always around and are happy to help, offer advice, or assist with whatever will make your stay more comfortable. Please don't hesitate to reach out at any time! This neighborhood is Boston's best kept secret! Just a 10 minute walk to the subway station and you're in downtown in just 2 short stops. Easy, inexpensive and convenient. But don't leave East Boston too soon either! Check out the beautiful parks (Piers Park is our favorite, with an amazing view of downtown and free concerts in the Summer), grab some food at many inexpensive and delicious restaurants within the area, and feel like a local - no need to worry about getting "tourist" prices on whatever you need to buy. Looking to go somewhere in particular? An Uber Pool ride will take you anywhere for <$10 - great way to get around too! It's easy! The subway station nearby is MBTA Airport Station. It is only 10 minutes away by walking. You can walk to MBTA Airport Station, hop on to Blue Line and take it two stops towards the Aquarium. Once you come out, you'll be right in the heart of Boston where you can easily explore by foot. Alternatively, we highly recommend to use Uber. With Uber Pool, most rides to downtown Boston or Cambridge will be under $10 and be very quick. You can also try out Boston's Bike Share network called Hubway. A day's pass is just $6 and gives you 24 hours of unlimited bike usage (in 30 minute segments). It’s super convenient to go to Boston Logan Airport as well, you can walk to the MBTA Airport Station from the house, and from there hop on a free airport shuttle to get to all the airport terminals easily. - CLEANED & SANITIZED - We know that a clean and sanitary environment is the top concern for guests. As such, our professional housekeeper cleans and sanitizes the house on a regular basis and before every guest's check in. Rest assured that we take all possible precautions to ensure you have a comfortable and safe stay at our house. - PARKING - Please note that the property offers free street parking only. It's a residential neighborhood and some of the areas may be marked as permit parking. If you're looking for a guaranteed dedicated spot, there are inexpensive paid parking options available as well. - LUGGAGE - Flying into to Boston early in the morning or leaving late in the evening? As a courtesy, you can drop off your luggage in our common area before you check-in or leave it there until the evening after check-out. This way, you can enjoy the city without having to worry about luggage. You just need to let us know 24 hours prior to your arrival so we can activate the access code. Please note that it will be in the public view and we're not liable for it, however, we have other guests leave it there all the time and haven't had any issues in the past. - SECURITY CAMERA -Please note that we have a security camera outside of the house by the front door for the safety of all guests. - CHECK-IN - You're welcome to drop-off your luggage anytime. However, you would then need to return to the property after 4:00pm when the room is ready. - CHECK-OUT - Guests must check-out by 11:00am on the departure day established in their reservation. However, feel free to leave your luggage in the common area to pick-up later that day. - SECURITY CAMERA -Please note that we have a security camera outside of the house by the front door for the safety of all guests.
