Hickory Hilltop View

Beautiful views of Northeast Iowa's Driftless Area. This house is located in a hickory grove on top of a scenic location just off a hard surface road; centrally located between Waukon, Lansing and New Albin, Iowa. Our rental property is the upper level of a 2 level home, with 3 bedrooms, living room, kitchen and 2 full bathrooms. The lower level is currently occupied by a tenant. Our relaxing hot tub is located on the lower deck with a beautiful view of the valley, and has privacy curtains. The space You will be renting the main level of our Ranch-style home with three bedrooms and 2-1/2 baths. Large living space and big beautiful deck outside. The hot tub is located on the deck on the lower level. It has curtains for privacy, solar lighting and some colored plugin lights. The lower level is separated by an enclosed stairwell and locked door. We have a fire pit area on the front side of house with some seating. The driveway is a shared driveway that goes back to our home in the woods. Guest access There are two deck access doors for guests. We prefer the use of the south door should you have pets with you as you come in on lanoleum instead of carpet. This door also is the quickest way to the hot tub! We will message the passcode for doors closer to your reservation. Other things to note If you like I can text or email you direction for use of hot tub. Please do not use indoor wood fireplace. Outdoor fire ring is available. You can bring your own firewood but we do have some for sale on the property. If you have a favorite lawn chair we encourage you to bring them. Some seating is available. Do not remove deck furniture for use around fire pit. Please bring your own beach towels for the hot tub. Do not use the bath towels for hot tub use! If you do forget towels for hot tub, we do have some available in the laundry room. There is an additional $25 charge per day for up to two dogs. Please clean up after your dogs. In the spring and when it rains the gravel driveway can become soft at times bring dogs in south door to laundry room to prevent tracking in. Smoking is allowed on premises but not in the house. There are butt buckets in the front and back decks. You must clean up ALL cigarette butts.
