The third-floor bedroom will be locked during your stay. It’s the same private home—just offered at a reduced midweek rate for smaller groups. High ceilings give the home a large and open concept, accented by the radiators throughout the house to give it a unique and historic feel. Inside you will have perfect views of the Dubuque downtown city life. The home is very close to Main Street, so enjoy wandering the historic streets while the city sleeps or enjoy morning coffee as it awakens with tunes of church bells. This is the perfect location for a quiet neighborhood within 2 minute walking to downtown. Each bedroom has spacious room and provide beds with luxury Grand Hotel pillows to ensure your get your best nights rest, ample closet space, and room darkening curtains so you may sleep in as if it’s always the weekend! You may access the main level, second floor. The outside deck is also available during your stay. The basement and third level will remain locked. You will also be provided two off street parking spots in the back of the house. Other things to note Invented in the mid-1800s, the concept of radiator heaters has a long history of keeping people warm. The townhouse is heated by radiator heat. You will find radiators in every room of the house. This helps to preserve the history of the home and gives it a unique feel. We ask that you please be careful around radiators. Radiators may be warm to touch. Please do not hang or put anything on the radiators. We do not have radiator covers as we hope to preserve the historic feel to the home. If you are traveling with children please be careful as the radiators are used throughout the cold months of the year to heat the home.
