Little House on the Hill

The Little House on the Hill (pun intended) is now open to host up to 17+ people. The home is a large charming 2 story house with 2182 square feet and is located in the Drake neighborhood inside the city of Des Moines and 2 blocks from Drake University. The location of the home is within close proximity to a park, a grocery store, a convenience store, and several restaurants. It is also a short distance to and from I-235. The space There are 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs. There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bath down stairs. There are 3 queen beds, 3 full beds and 4 twin beds. Additionally, we have a futon, a rollout bed and 2 bed nooks for additional sleeping quarters. THERE ARE NO BUNK BEDS. There is a large kitchen with an breakfast bar. Laundry is located on the main floor. There are several communal spaces to include a large living room, 3 season porch. a loft area upstairs and a 2 patio area outside. Guest access You will have access to the entire home inside and outside. There is also access to the 2 car garage and a parking pad next to the garage. Other things to note The home is inspected and registered with the City of Des Moines for rental purposes Fully fenced in Key-less entry There are charging stations throughout the home We offer a lot of amenities to include spices, cooking oil, coffee, K-Cups, foil, storage bags, paper towels and napkins, outdoor cooler and propane for grill.
