Our historic carriage house in Downtown Rockport has everything you need for the perfect getaway, all year long! A two-minute walk to beaches, shops, galleries, parks, and playground. A peaceful family and pet-friendly space with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay: laundry, kitchen, queen sized bed with en-suite bathroom and sun room that converts to an extra sleeping space perfect for kids. A short walk to the train for day trips to Salem, Gloucester, and Boston! The space You will be staying in the converted carriage house, which is a small guest house on the property. We have nice tall ceilings, tons of closet space, and an en-suite bathroom. It is so cozy! Ideal for a couple or family. Please be aware you will need to use stairs to get to the bathroom and bedroom as they are both on the second floor. The historic carriage house was built in the 1800s, so the stairs are a bit steep! In keeping with the historic theme, our driveway was designed during the times of horse and buggy, so it is narrow! Guest access You will have: your own small yard, use of the hot tub and patio area, and one off-street parking space Other things to note Please be aware that our home is from 1800, so you will need to use a set of steeper stairs to access the bedroom and bathroom. The driveway is also narrow, as it was built before cars were regularly used! We also love, love, love dogs - and we have them ourselves! We have lots of supplies available in case you forgot something at home. You will have your own small backyard, but it is not fully fenced in.
