Located on Bayou Liberty. This Bayou cabin is Located only 25 miles from New Orleans. Bayou liberty is great for fishing, kayaking or just enjoying nature. Boat slip and dock on the water is available for all guests. Bring your boat!! Beautiful sunsets from the balcony will have you in awe!! Great place to just escape from the day to day of city life or cruise the bayou. ***If you enjoy a nice bike ride the St. Tammany Trace Trailhead is very close*** The space Beautiful Rustic Cabin with a balcony that overlooks the Bayou and State Park. Guest access Cabin sits on approximately 1 acre of Bayou waterfront property behind main house. On-site parking under main house, with brick trail to the cabin. Guests will have access to the cabin, swing, kayaks and full access of dock. The cabin does sit about 150ft. behind main home and directly across the bayou is a State Park. The State Park does have plenty of trails and also an amphitheater that you can sometimes hear kids practicing instruments, choir lessons, or just exploring the trails. Other things to note *Fishing poles and 2 kayaks accessecible to guests. (Only a limited selection of tackle provided) *Washer and dryer is located inside of the cabin. *The property does run from an underground well so the water tends to have a sulphur smell to it. It has been tested and is completely safe to use. Fresh water is left in the fridge to use for coffee or brushing your teeth. ****MY FAMILY: DOG(Rexella), PIG(Erica), CATS(4 of them) will be ROAMING AROUND THEIR PROPERTY. Rexella barks but as soon as you sy her name she allows you in HER home. ****Please do not book with me if you have a phobia of strange animals.
