Cozy riverside bungalow celebrates panorama views of the peaceful Connecticut River. Multiple levels of outdoor living space, open-air and screened-in. Just minutes from all major points of interest in the Pioneer Valley - including Six Flags New England, MGM Casino Complex, Big E Fairgrounds, Basketball Hall of Fame, and the Greater Springfield Metro area. Only 20 minutes from Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Windsor Locks. The space Cozy yet airy with skylights, vaulted ceilings, and open views of the river throughout the house. Modern amenities through out, multiple wall-mounted 4K flatscreens on adjustable arms, USB outlets for charging in every room, in-line cold water filtration on tap, and indoor HEPA and carbon air filtration and purification. Master bedroom features remote adjustable bed with variable tilt, lift, and massage. Kids (and adults!) can enjoy classic board games or retro video games from the boredom basket in the living room. Outdoor living extends off the back, with shaded and sunny open air with plenty of room to sun out. Screened in covered porch provides comfortable views of the river with no hassle from the elements. Throw some cornhole and knock some blocks in jumbo jenga, or get stretched out on the yoga mats. XL grill on patio is powerful enough to cook for the whole crew. At night, lounge by the firepit as solar-powered string lights and sconces accent the perimeter, creating a magical atmosphere in the twilight. Guests are welcome to pick and use fresh Rosemary, Lavender, and Lemon Balm in outside herb pots for cooking, tea, and more. Guest access Street level access to front door, with stairs down to the back patio. Screened porch accessible off back of main house on same level, with stairs down to the patio. River gate from patio leads to wood staircase down to the river shore. Entire property is open for guest access, except for mechanical, maintenance, and storage areas (shed and basement). Other things to note THERE IS NO BEACH, BOAT RAMP, OR DOCK. The river and shore past the stairs/stone slabs are outside of property lines and as such are not within my ability to control or maintain (Mother Nature's domain). Swimming and other water activities in the river are accessed by a natural shoreline, and seasonal natural conditions may occur. The river is swimmable but it is subject to discretion based on variable conditions such as weather and seasonal level/depth of river, depending on recent rainfall and other factors. These factors also affect amount of exposed river bank/shore and the conditions of that variable ground as the river rises and falls regularly throughout the season and year. It is a natural river shore with plants and mud and not much sand, so I suggest sturdy sandals or water shoes for any activities by or in the river. You should be cautious about buried debris on river bottom, floating logs, and other natural river hazards when past property boundary onto the river shore. Access to bring kayaks, canoes, and similarly sized paddle-craft is via wooden staircase shown in photos. Kayaks (sit-in and sit-on-top) are available for small fee and deposit, including paddles and vests. Message for details!
