As you drive past our home to the chalet, you arrive at a tucked‑away spot where the cottage and hot tub pavilion are screened by trees and bamboo, creating a private, secluded feel. This is a place to slow down, enjoy quiet mornings by the water, and end the day under the stars, while leaving feeling recharged from your stay at our little piece of paradise. Cozy windows look out toward the pond and trees, and the open layout makes it easy to spend time together. Guests are welcomed with fresh muffins, yard eggs, and coffee for the first morning, adding a homelike touch to your stay. • Open‑plan living room with a cozy seating area and Smart TV. • Fully equipped kitchen with cookware, dishes, and everything you need for your favorite hot drinks. • Two connecting bedrooms: one queen suite and a second bedroom with a twin‑over‑full bunk/futon, each with its own Smart TV. • Naturally dim bedrooms create a calm, restful atmosphere for sleeping in, stretching, or enjoying a quiet morning with your phone or a good book. • One modern bathroom with a tub/shower combo and essential hygiene items so you can pack light and still feel at home. Guest access Outside, guests have full access to: a covered dining and hot tub pavilion, BBQ area, fire pit with seating, a nature trail, a floating dock, a pedal boat, and a stocked pond for catch‑and‑release fishing. You’re welcome to cook and enjoy a fresh catch during your stay. Spend the day paddling or sunbathing on the dock, then move to the fire pit or hot tub in the evening. When you’re ready to explore, nearby vineyards, breweries, parks, museums, and small‑town shops offer plenty to do, and the weekend farmers market is a local favorite. Other things to note • DOG POLICY: Up to 2 dogs with prior approval; pet fee is $20 per dog per night. Please request and review our dog agreement before booking so we can confirm your pet is a good fit. • NO SMOKING INDOORS: If it is determined that tobacco or vaping occurred indoors, a $500 fee will be charged to cover professional odor removal services. • SEPTIC SYSTEM: The septic is inspected after each stay. If any items other than toilet paper are flushed, a $250 maintenance fee will be charged. • NATURE & INSECTS: Because the cottage is surrounded by woods and a pond, you may very occasionally see a harmless insect indoors despite regular professional pest control.
