Rainbow Beach is one of the few beaches on Maui where you have a sandy bottom way out into the ocean with coral on each side for snorkeling. Plenty of sand on the beach for sunning and building sand castles. Rainbow Beach is very private because it is not accessible to the public. Swim in the close by pool when it is too dark to swim in the ocean. C-101 will comfortably sleep four persons with a king size bed in the bedroom and a comfortable pullout sofa in the living room. There is bathroom access without going through the bedroom for guests in the living room. There are cable connected flat screen TVs in the living room and the bedroom and internet hookup for your computer. The kitchen is fully equipped with a convection microwave above a cooktop and oven, dishwasher, garbage disposal and washer/dryer combination. The condo has double sliding glass doors along a full western wall to bring in the ocean views. Hear the surf 24/7. THE VIEWS: West Maui is one of the few places where you see Molokai and Lanai at close range with a sunset therebetween. Watch for whales in the winter season teaching their babies to jump high to take a look at you. See the schools of jumping porpoise and fish. Enjoy the beautiful lava formed cove next to Rainbow Beach with draping flora which is highlighted at night by tiki torches. Watch the surfers and wind surfers and see canoe races and distant sailboats. Look into the ocean in front of the condo and see turtles and many varieties of fish. THE EVENINGS: . Lokelani is set back from picturesque Lower Honoapiilani Road that traverses other great beaches, walking distances to the little Lahuiokalani Kaanapali Congregational Church, great eating places, shopping center, strip malls, Farmer's Market food stands, parks next to beaches, flea markets and other condo complexes. A short trip on upper Honoapiilani Road takes you to Kaanapali where you have luaus, a 3 mile boardwalk along Kaanapali Beach, restaurants right on the beach, museums and a free hula show every night. Commonly asked questions * Do you provide beach chairs, toys, umbrellas, snorkeling gear, pool floats, etc? Sometimes guest leave these items behind, check the closet for such items. Please use all items left behind by previous guest at your own risk. There are many places nearby where you can buy/rent these items for affordable prices on a daily/weekly basis. * Do you provide pack n' play, rollaway cots, for children or cribs for babies? No we don't provide any baby gear. Maui Baby rentals is about a mile away. Just give them a call. * Do you have washer and dryers? Yes, there is set in your condo. * Do you have parking? Yes, we have one parking spot per condo (this includes our one and two bedroom condos) * Do you have oils or spices for cooking? No we do not supply these items; we are conscience of cross contamination. * Do you have kitchen cookware? Our kitchens come fully stocked, from dishes, glassware, pots and pans and many kitchen utensils, they also have microwave and coffee makers (bring your own coffee) we also have barbeques on property for your use. * We have starter supplies in each condo. We start you with toilet paper, paper towels, liquid dish soap, trash bags, one sponge, and travel size toiletries. * Do you have beach access? Yes, there is a small little beach in front of the complex, many guest love to snorkel there. * Do you offer late check outs or early check ins? Our housekeeping staff asks us not to offer this ahead of time. You can send a message the same day and we can let you know. Although please plan for a 3:00p.m. check in and 11:00a.m. check out. * Do you offer grocery delivery? No we do not. I do recommend Demming's Delivery Service. * Are there Grocery stores close by? Yes, there is Honokowai Farmer's Market Health Food Store, ABC Convenience, and Times Supermarket. * Can you recommend places to eat and things to do? I have provided a few suggestions below. But, I highly encourage you to explore Maui on your own. If you arrive at Kahului Airport, there are many free brochures that suggest places to eat, rent equipment, excursion, etc. * Restaurants/Coffee?
