With a gas grill & seating for all 8 - it is the perfect place to establish base camp for your Yellowstone vacation. The space The Bison Hallow is cozy and beautifully decorated with a theme honoring the great American icon, the Sacred Bison. Two bedrooms w/4 commercial queens and private ensuite (full) bathroom. Fully stocked kitchen (regular coffee maker, toaster, dishes and silverware). This property includes a dishwasher, washer & dryer for guests to use. The patio is the ideal space to spend your time enjoying coffee or an afternoon/evening beverage while listening to the river and waterfall. With a loveseat, chairs and picnic table - there is plenty of space for all 8 guests. Restaurants and local shopping are within ten minutes driving distance and Chico Hot Springs Spa & fine restaurant are a half hour away. This Yellowstone cabin is a delightful place from which to navigate your Yellowstone National Park vacation, and you can even walk to the park directly from our driveway, only (approx) 1500 feet away. Enjoy a BBQ on the patio, a marshmallow roast at the fire pit or a relaxing stroll down our rural road, away from the noises of the city. Just under 48 miles to Livingston, and 1 1/2 hours from Bozeman Airport, the location is convenient yet very private. Feedback, both in our guest book and online, for our cabin has been consistently wonderful, with our most recent guests saying our 'river home, not really a cabin, was over the top!' Guest access Community fire pit by the Yellowstone River (shared with other riverfront cabins but rarely crowded). Raft right past the cabins, fishing nearby or even out front of the cabin, depending upon the time of year. Must obtain proper permits in town. Other things to note Guests are 100% responsible for their own safety and the safety of those in their party. Wild animals (grizzly and black bears, coyotes, mountain lions, wolves, fox, rattlesnakes, elk, deer & bison) may be on the property at any time. Recommend carrying bear spray if walking by the river or on the island or hiking nearby.
