Two bedrooms, each with a full-size bed, and one sofa long enough to sleep on. The property features old and new buildings with a lot of greenspace, horse paddock and corral, mountains in the distance. Rooms are cozy and colorful, windows provide plenty of light to the interior, big TV with blu rays and DVDs, fireplace, two couches, foosball hidden under the coffee table, small dining room and very functional kitchen with a powder room. Cottage also has a decent sized mudroom on the back. The entire 1st floor is for the use of the guests. The basement is not. Rose Quartz Ranch is a lovely 4.3 acre mini-ranch with pastures, horse paddock, outbuildings, and apple trees on a 35-mph county road, 3 minutes drive to Dillon. The neighborhood to the north includes other small ranches and residential homes. The road has very light traffic although the occasional loud truck; a concrete business sometimes has beeping trucks about 2 miles away; you'll hear cows and horses, dogs barking, locomotive train in the distance. Neighbors sometimes run power tools during daylight hours. You might here us taking care of the property and the animals. Easy and direct drive of 1.5 miles to Safeway, the closest grocery store, theater, gas station, motels, ranch supply stores, hardware stores, bars and churches. Dillon is an old cowboy town, originally a depot for the mining industry, it's still a depot and town which serves ranchers, recreationists, and locals. There is a free bus service that may require reservation but will pick up anywhere in Dillon City limits, not sure about pick up at this location since we are just out of the city limits. The host and her mother live in private residences on the property. We will wave to you and would be delighted to meet you but will leave you alone to enjoy the place if that's your style.
