Master bedroom with private bath
Enjoy the private master bedroom with king size bed and Hawaiian furnishings. Attached is your private, newly remodeled bathroom, with designer tile and a huge two-person shower with built-in bench. You also have use of the shared spacious living room, laundry facilities, and gourmet kitchen -- designed for two chefs, with two cooktops, two sinks, French door fridge, and granite countertops. And the best space -- the large lanai (balcony), with an expansive ocean view and gorgeous sunsets. This is a private home in a residential neighborhood. It is a two-bedroom home with two full baths. Each bedroom has its own private attached full bathroom. You will have exclusive use of the master bedroom and bath. The common areas (living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and lanai) will be shared with the host. Depending on my work schedule, I will be more or less available if you wish to chat. You can always message me through Airbnb and I will respond as quickly as I can. I'd like you to have a fabulous stay, and I'll do my best to make that happen! The ocean is less than a mile away as the crow flies, so depending on the surf conditions you may hear and/or see the crashing waves. Magic Sands (White Sands) beach is just 5 minutes (1.8 miles) away. A black sand snorkeling beach called Kahalu'u is only 6 minutes (2.5 miles) away. We often see sea turtles here. The shops and restaurants of downtown Kona are 10 minutes (4 miles) away. Multiple grocery stores are available to the north or south within a 10 minute drive, and there's a small convenience store just a block away. We're only a 20 minute (11 mile) drive from the airport. (Tip: if you have a Costco membership, stop there on your way to the house from the airport. You'll be driving right by!) Just three blocks to the wonderful Walua Trail, popular for walking, running and biking. Numerous coffee plantations are just up-mountain a bit. We're happy to give you our recommendations. My home is located in a traditional Hawaiian neighborhood, not a resort setting. You'll likely get to hear children playing, coqui frogs in the evening, perhaps a dog or a rooster on occasion. Live like a local! For almost any visit to a Hawaiian island, you will want to rent a car. Public transportation is not easy or convenient. There is off-street parking for one guest car at the house, on a paved driveway. Sometimes we rent the whole house. For details on that option, please see this separate listing on Airbnb .com/rooms/959688210958867583?guests=1&adults=1&s=67&unique_share_id=a3fec3a2-ff6e-4e2b-88bb-66a36ce9aec6
