Notes on this property: The Pool: Our pool is estimated to be 74 years old, meaning it was built at the same time as the house. It is very old and imperfect, as much as it is super unique and fun. It was built as a lap pool and is roughly 20 yards long. It's depth is 3.5 feet - 9 feet. It sits mostly above ground, and is a poured concrete pool. It sits under oak trees, we have been told to remove them, but we can't bring ourselves too. So there are subsequently two consequences for this decision. 1) The pool costs way more to maintain and keep clean. 2) The pool will always be bouncing between a clear blue and a light green. There are simply too many leaves and too much rain in Louisiana to have a perfect balance at all times. But the pool is treated weekly and it is definitely always safe to swim in.
