There is a weekly game of "Farmball (softball) on the farm and you are welcome to watch or play. You can take a scenic walk to a secluded beach in 15 minutes or drive down in 5. There is a great outside lanai with a table chairs, a small gas barbeque and garden views. The Sugarloaf Farmstay is a legal, permitted "homestay", Class IV Zoning Permit Z-IV-2015-35, Use Permit U-2015-34, Special Permit SP-2015-12. Because many guests have found difficulty arranging a rental car (the BEST way to explore Kauai) at reasonable rates, we have 2 fun cars (one sedan, one SUV) which we make available to our guests.
