Private tiny home cottage in a park-like Monkeypod glen. It is newly built and fully furnished, with a king-size bed and a loft space with two additional twin beds. There is an efficient kitchenette with a countertop induction stove, refrigerator, microwave, and basic cookware. The shower is fully tiled with a high-end shower fixture. The cottage is located in a very private area on a 5-acre star fruit farm, but also easily accessible to Hawi and Kapa`au town. There is a main living space when you first enter that has a kitchenette, dining table for four, and a living room area that can either hold the king-size bed or a trundle bed that can act as a couch. The back of the cottage has a bathroom and closet area. Above, there is a loft area that can be accessed using a retractable ladder and can either hold the king-size bed or the two twin beds, depending on how you want to use the space. Let us know ahead of time and we will arrange the beds to best suit your needs! The entire tiny home will be yours and you will also have access to the lower part of the farm, including a lot of fruit trees and maintained lawns. We are pretty much always on the property, so please reach out if you have questions or need help in any way! The farm is located on the main road between Hawi and Kapa`au, so we are within walking distance of the grocery store, public library, and a restaurant. We are also within 2 miles of both downtown Hawi and Kapa`au where there are restaurants, coffee shops, and boutique shops. Despite this easy access, the farm feels totally removed and private. You cannot see a single neighbor and instead feel immersed in a park-like setting with many varieties of tropical fruit trees. We are also located within half an hour of the resort area, where you can access some of the nicest beaches, shopping, and restaurants available on the island. You can also go over the scenic mountain road to reach the mountain town of Waimea, known for its cowboy culture, also only 30 minutes away. Please be aware that this cottage is on a farm in rural Hawai`i, so there may be geckos, bugs, visiting wild pigs, and wild chickens. We do our best to curb the amount and always make sure to keep a clean and secure home, but these 'farm friends' will still be around. We also live on another section of the farm, so you may hear children laughing while they play on our trampoline and swing, or possibly be visited by our goofy and lovable black lab.
