This lovely bedroom suite is located in a private home in prestigious Ali'i Heights only 0.7 of a mile from the ocean and the island's best beaches. Private entrance thru French doors. Parking in driveway; use of washer, dryer and gas BBQ grill. Welcome to your perfect island vacation home! You will love having coffee in the morning in your Private Ocean-View Courtyard or a glass of wine in the evening while watching the beautiful sunsets! We do have pets (a very friendly and quiet Great Dane and 4 cats), but they have no access to the Guest Suite. IMPORTANT: There is a Hawaii tax of 14.85% total based on the room rate only (not the cleaning or any other charges) which is paid to us directly upon arrival-- cash, check or Venmo. Unfortunately Airbnb does not collect this tax for Hawaii as they do for many other states. My husband and I are always available and happy to recommend restaurants, the best "Happy Hour" locations, and other things to see and do. It will be our pleasure to provide almost anything that will help you make the most of your Hawaii vacation! We are located in Ali'i Heights, a beautiful, quiet, safe neighborhood of private homes with wide streets, sidewalks and street lighting. We are only 0.7 of a mile from the ocean and about a mile from Kahulu (La'aloa) Beach which is a favorite. Also close to Magic Sands Beach great for snorkeling. Easy downhill walk but tough coming back up so recommend a rental car. Uber is also available. You will probably need to rent a car to see all the wonderful things available on the island although we do have taxi and uber service also. There is a small desk inside the suite for anyone needing a work station although most guests prefer to work outside at the table under the huge cantilever umbrella so they can enjoy the ocean view.
