This stylish house is solar powered & has a private upstairs , w/private entrance & security, & is perfect for a couples or single. Bedroom has a vanity with a jack & jill bath plus a little coffee seating area. Also, private porch with fans & ferns, patio w/outdoor umbrella and benches. Lots of green! The owner lives downstairs privately & but offers access to the kitchen. 1.5 mi from The French Q, close St. Roch cemetery & Market, St. Claude, Streetcar, & close to I-10! The house was built in 2021 but has an old NOLA feel. Lots of sunshine and windows. VERY Quiet neighborhood. Pet friendly. Choice of a queen or a double bed. Primary space: The backdoor leads to a private stairwell that takes you up to your entire space and room. There is a little yoga space at the landing, (guitar if you play), and a long hall that connects to the two rooms. Back deck and yard. The entrance is secured with a private code, no key required. Lots of light along the path. Owner is quiet and works from home but is available 100% of the time. The neighborhood is eclectic for sure. Easy access to the Marigny, French Quarter, Bywater area& the I-10 and more. It is quiet and I am the only STR on the street , so it's all residential, single family and shot guns. You can hear the trains down the way and it's walking distance to St. Roch Market and Cemetery. It's cool, I love it here. I can offer pick ups to and from the airport. It's literally 20 mins away. I can definitely drop you in the French Quarter, Magazine St, Frenchman, where ever you want to go. Lyft is the best way to get home at night. I don't walk anywhere at night after 11pm. Lyft is fast and cheap. Need a ride? Your host can pick you up from the airport (20 mins away) and drive you back. Also available to get you across town to the many different neighborhoods. The French Quarter, Frenchman St., Bywater, Marigny, Magazine St. (Uptown), Irish Channel, Midtown, City Park, ETC. Need a chef? In case you missed it somewhere in these details (pages) your host is a professional chef, so if you need a little nosh in the morning a breakfast cart is perfect.
