In-law Apartment, Full Kitchen, Near Mt Wachusetts

Your home away from home is a spacious & newly renovated basement/in-law apartment (approx 1100 sq feet) located below the main house, with its own private entrance, dedicated parking & in walkable neighborhood. The unit has a bathroom, full kitchen, living room & bedroom w/queen bed & extra tv. Hubbardston is a quaint little town with no stop-lights yet conveniently located to many beautiful hiking trails, fishing spots and lakes. 10 minutes from route 2 and 15 minutes from Mt Wachusetts. The space You’ll instantly feel at home as you walk down the brick path from your own parking space to your own private entrance. Neutral walls with bright decor give your space a French country cottage feel. A piano (keyboard on a stand) is also available in your space for entertainment. TV’s are mounted on the wall in both the living area and the bedroom. Local channels are streamed through spectrum so you won’t miss any broadcasted New England Patriots football, Red Sox baseball, Celtics basketball or Bruins hockey! Netflix and Amazon access is provided. You can use the Roku service (bedroom tv) or Apple TV (living room) to get to any other apps you like to login to with your own personal credentials. Guests staying for more that 5 days can schedule access to the main house/upstairs laundry room. Since this is a basement apartment the place itself remains cool during the summer months. However, a ceiling fan in the living area and a fan in the bedroom are readily accessible, if needed. During the winter, use the private nest thermostat in your living room to control your own heat. Enjoy fresh water straight from the tap, courtesy of the homes ozone water filtration system. Finally, in the event you need to work while you’re here, there is a small desk in the apartment. Guest access Enjoy the outdoor areas too! There’s a beautiful outside dining table with a cantilever solar umbrella to enjoy a bite to eat during the day or under the night stars. Take a dip in the pool (Mid June to End of August) and enjoy some sun on the chaise lounge chairs on the pool deck. Venture your way to the front of the house and watch the hummingbirds flutter about as you relax near the bistro table or on the wicker couch. Mosquito zappers are located near the dining table and near the wicker furniture. Just plug them in! Also note, the neighborhood has a sandy beach area for its freshwater fed pond and many hiking trails (see other photos for more details). If you visit in the spring, summer or fall be sure to check out one of the biggest and best flea markets around at Rietta Ranch, right here in Hubbardston!! Other things to note Please note the property and amenities are available to the two guests registered at the time of booking. The entrance to the space is down a set of stairs. The space is not handicap accessible. At the bottom of the stairs and to the right, is some piping for the sump pump. Please be careful not to step on the pipes. Leave switch at bottom of stairs (on the left) in upright position (that controls the sump pump). Please no smoking or vaping (we have an asthmatic in the family).
