Lake life will rejuvenate your soul. Our home is furnished with guests in mind to feel like home. Enjoy cooking in our fully stocked kitchen. Grab a blanket, pick a DVD or book from our small collection, or have fun with the family playing games we've provided. Either way, this trip is all about relaxation. Peaceful. Relaxing. Fun. Feel free to bring your own boat to tie up at the home. Paddle boat is also available for use. Guests love that our home is “close to everything in town yet feels so relaxing and away from everything.” Please note that while families are welcome, our home is not baby or child-proof. Life vests are not provided but recommended when around or in the water. Please use caution as our home is located directly on Cane River Lake. PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION. Depending on how comfortable you are with your other guests, our beautiful home can accommodate up to 4-5 guests. There is a master bedroom with a king bed and a cozy loft at the top of the stairs with a twin bed adjacent to the bedroom. Both the king bed and twin bed are upstairs. In the living room is a queen pull-out couch. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you could possibly need to cook. We have two coffee makers- a keurig and a regular coffee maker with a mini coffee bar. Games, dvds, Netflix, and books are available to keep you entertained in your downtime. Unless you request our services, the house is yours during your stay. We respect our guests’ need for privacy and will be available at your convenience. As this house neighbors our own, you may see us at some point. What's special about our location is that you can relax on the water yet less than a mile from food, shopping, and entertainment. Our home is located in a neighborhood “in town” and close to everything but not “downtown.” You won’t want to walk everywhere, but you’re only about a mile from restaurants. For all your traveling needs, there is a Walmart located only about a half mile away, along with Super 1 grocery store and multiple dollar stores for groceries, toiletries, etc. Urgent Care centers and pharmacies are open weekends. The Downtown Historic District is only a few miles away, where you will find historical tours, shopping, and dining on the beautiful Cane River. There are stairs going up to our home and stairs inside as well. Sorry, no pets. While we are animal lovers ourselves, we want to ensure every guest can enjoy a perfectly clean space each stay.
