Garden Room, Quaint Asbury Park Shore Cottage
Garden Room, Quaint Asbury Park Shore Cottage
Description
The Garden room is back on line! For those who loved it in the past, and for new comers. This is a private room with an 'en suite' bathroom, and a private entrance directly through the garden. This makes it ideal for anyone bringing a pet! Though it's idea for 1 person it can easily accommodate 2 as it has a pop up trundle bed. This room is in the historic section of the house, dating back to the 1840's. We have tried to maintain the historic feel while providing modern amenities. The space One of the oldest structures in town, this quaint cottage once belonged to James Bradley, the founder of Asbury Park. Full disclosure, we are still a work in progress (our loving restoration of this house will probably continue forever) but every room is comfortable and fully functional with many 21st century amenities. You will have exclusive use of this bedroom which sleeps two. A private entrance through the shady back garden is available. This bedroom has its own full bath (with tub and shower.) There is a cable TV and internet access in this room as well. Guests have access to common areas of the downstairs--so feel free to hang out in the living room, lounge in the sun room, or rock on our front porch. We are pet friendly (we have a dog of our own) so well socialized dogs are welcome. (Sorry, we cannot accommodate cats). We are within walking distance of all Asbury Park attractions, 4 blocks from the shops and restaurants of Cookman Avenue, 5 blocks from the ocean, and 4 short blocks from the NJ transit train and bus stations.
