Welcome to The Peacock Loft! This space is a reflection of my passion for design, color, and attention to beautiful details. Every corner is filled with art, custom designs, travel treasures, creative books, vintage decor, and boho charm. Set in a charming historic building with modern updates, it’s just a few blocks away from the nostalgic Downtown Burlington, Iowa. We’ve equipped the loft with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The space The loft spills over with boho, chill, artistic energy. Full of moody lighting, cozy furniture, views of the Mississippi River and Downtown Burlington. You will feel like you are in a big city loft in the middle of a small charming river town. Guest access We have free street parking and a large parking space behind the building Other things to note Please be aware that the loft is located at the intersection of two busy streets and near a train track. However, there is a no train horn policy, so you won't hear high-speed trains or horns. For your comfort, we provide a noise machine, disposable earplugs, and a fan in the bedroom to help mask any outside sounds while sleeping. Blinds and curtains are also in place to block out as much light as possible from nearby streetlights. Downtown Burlington is constantly improving, so there may be occasional construction in the area, though we've had no guest complaints. The building itself is historic with modern upgrades, but you may notice some typical quirks, like minor brick dust or small water leaks. We address these as quickly as possible, so please let us know if you notice anything that needs attention!
