Everything in this condo is brand new, including all furniture, kitchen supplies, towels & linen. We offer extremely High-Speed internet for your convenience. Other building amenities include a pool, jacuzzi hot tub, BBQs, tennis courts, Ping-Pong table, gated parking & overnight security. Our balcony is the ideal height for turtle watching. You may even spot a whale. This vibrant land is full of surprises. Even dolphins spin by now & then. There is plenty of parking and you can park in any available spots (no assigned parking). You are required to register your vehicle with the security desk in the front lobby. You will be sent a code to access the lockbox located outside of the gate to receive your fob. This fob will allow you access to all property gates, the elevators, and the pool. PLEASE don't lose your fob & return it to the lockbox at the time of departure. There is a $100 replacement charge for lost fobs. Tucked away on Lahilahi Beach (or Turtle Beach), Makaha is the perfect place for the ultimate relaxation vacation. Get away from the "tourist" Hawaii and come experience the "untouched" local side that visitors rarely get to experience. Listen to the waves crashing right outside your door as you watch the sun set into the ocean. We suggest stopping by a grocery store on your way up to the unit to stock up on groceries so you don't have to disturb your relaxation once you get to the unit. There is a Costco & Safeway in Kapolei, or the local grocery store is Tamura's or Sack&Save in Waianae. There is a Long's convenient store 1 minute away from the unit for last minute items or snacks. *Please note that the current on the Westside can tend to be strong and there is no lifeguard on duty at Turtle Beach. If you are not a strong swimmer, please take caution when swimming. If "strong current" signs are on the beach, take them seriously. For your convenience, we recommend that you rent a vehicle during your stay at the Hawaiian Princess. This will allow you to enjoy the peace and remoteness of this location while still having access to other parts of the island. There are several great restaurants, shopping, and other amenities within a 20 to 30 minutes drive. We also suggest taking day trips to drive around the island. (ie. The North Shore, Kailua Beach, Waikiki Beach, Polynesian culture center, Dole Pineapple Plantation, and Coffee Plantation Farm, Waimea Valley Waterfall. The building has secure gated parking. You can park in any available space. No assigned spot. There is a security guard on location overnight. Distance from HNL airport is around 45 minutes depending on the time of day and traffic conditions. We suggest stopping at Kapolei on your way (exit 1 on Hwy H1 West). Distance from Kapolei is around 25 minutes. Kapolei offers an assortment of food & grocery shopping options for your convenience. (ie. Costco & Safeway). Distance from Ko'Olina resort is around 20 minutes. You can visit Ko'Olina during your stay and enjoy the beautiful scenery, man-made coves perfect for enjoying shallow waters, and a great selection of restaurants.
