Lofty Room in centrally located gorgeous home. 5 minute walk to the restaurants and bars in Bywater/St Claude, 15 minute walk to Live music on Frenchman and 20 minute walk to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street! Quick 10 min walk to the Street Car which will take you anywhere in the city! Strong Wifi and workplace/4K television in common area. Kitchen Amenities and Morning Coffee! Keyed entry lock on bedroom door for added privacy/security. The space This is a very nice place. Our staff keep it very well kept. You will have lots of privacy, however, if you have questions we are happy to help and passionate about our beautiful city. We are located on a busy street around the corner from the St Claude, bohemian style nightlife and restaurants. It's not a fancy neighborhood but an up and coming true New Orleans neighborhood with the grit that makes New Orleans New Orleans. We are a 20 minute walk to the French Quarter, Bourbon and 15 minutes to Frenchman (you'll pass cool places on the way). Feel free to use the kitchen and our beautiful living room. I live here in a private bedroom. There are Airbnb guests in another private room on the other side of the house. I've never had any issues with any of the guests as all are quiet and respectful. By the way, I am a Special Education teacher and the house is a friendly and respectful environment and we are looking forward to having you. Guest access Guests have access to laundry, kitchen and living room. This includes a big screen television (Amazon Prime) and all the kitchen utensils you need. The Bathroom is shared with the host, however, the host only uses it for an occasional shower and uses another bathroom for everything else. There is one other room in the house that sometimes has guests who also have access to the living room and kitchen all guests have been quiet and respectful up to this point. During your stay We are happy to answer any questions you may have about this wonderful city. Questions regarding recommendations are encouraged as we love to talk about the nightlife and great restaurants in the area. If we are free and you'd like us to take you around and show you the local spots, we'd be happy to do this as well! Other things to note Never had any issues parking on the street.
