North Shore - Coconut Shack (Private & Bikes), Steps to beach Spacious, private disconnected and breezy room separate from main house with private access to bathroom (shower is outdoor). Steps to beach and park and located in a safe, local, family-friendly neighborhood, close to Haleiwa town. Spacious 12' x 13' private disconnected cozy shack located in our beautiful authentic jungle garden. Large and clean separate access to private, cozy studio. This room can be locked from the inside and outside. Property is very secure for guests personal property. We live on the property as well but we like to socialize with our guests and are able to provide information or tips for the best experience for them. Room entrance is off of the garden so it is pretty quiet and very breezy due to the lush surroundings. You can hear the birds singing in the morning and the crickets at night time. Guests are able to use common areas (only to share if there are other guests at the same time) in cool, shaded open space such as: picnic table and bench, lounge area. Our guests of our Coconut Shack Room are gonna have the authentic adventurous Hawaii experience to access the outdoor shower in the back of our house. Please be aware that the bathroom that is connected to the room does not provide a shower but toilet and sink. Room entrance is off of the garden so it is pretty quiet and very breezy due to the lush surroundings. You can hear the birds singing in the morning and the crickets at night time. * My place is a few steps away from the beach, park, family-friendly activities, surf spots, SUP, public transport, hiking spots, and many other activities. You’ll love my place because of the ambiance and the outdoor space. *My place is good for couples, solo adventurers *Located in Waialua, home of the Old Sugar Mill, and close to Haleiwa town and world famous north shore beaches (Haleiwa Beach Park, Waimea Bay, Pipeline, Sunset Beach etc.). 15 min drive to Schofield. Experience Hawaii country life and common conveniences all in one spot. Waialua is a residential beach community, just off of Haleiwa town. Still very North Shore living and close to several quiet beaches. We are nearby the world famous Matsumoto's and Haleiwa Beach Park, public busses, SUP rentals and Rainbow Bridge where you can go for a kayak ride or SUP, restaurants, markets, drug store - all within a 10 minute drive. *There is a bus stop steps away from the house. *If you do not want to rent a car, we can offer airport pick up and/or drop off for $80 one way. This offer is dependent on our availability, please check with me in advance. *The North Shore is a more peaceful and tranquil paradise away from loud and busy Waikiki for a true local experience. Waikiki is about a 45 min. drive away. Honolulu Airport is about 35-45 minutes away, depending on traffic (rush hour traffic hours apply just as anywhere). *About me: I work full-time. So I am usually gone during the days but are available via phone or message if you need any tips on where to go/what to do. I open my home up to meet new people and share the experience of the North Shore as it should be lived! I work a lot but love to have friends over to barbq whenever I can. If you are around, you are welcome to join us! I am a social person so that I have sometimes friends come by to hang out with me during the evenings or weekends. If you have certain cautions that I should be aware of (i.e. super early flight, etc.), please let me know. *NOTE: Please upload a photo in your profile and verifications before sending any requests or messages. Directions, address and phone number are listed in reservation details, once submitted and accepted. ~~A L O H A~~ Bus stop is directly in front of the house down the street. Street parking is free and available. Bath and beach towels are provided. *I have a set of snorkeling gear available to use for guests. *The shower for the Coconut Shack is outdoor right next to shack *We live on the same property as well as we are having possibly another 1-2 guests during your stay sharing the common amenities such as kitchenette, outdoor lounging area with you. *Please do not keep any food or open containers with food in the Coconut Shack as both attracts bug like ants, cock roaches etc. quickly. Therefore we provide the outdoor kitchen including a fridge where you can store your food and drinks as well. *Please also note that there is our puppy Luna on the property who runs freely in the yard when she is outside. Therefore we kindly ask you to be thoughtful of opening and closing our gate to the property to make sure that she is not able to escape. She might follow you around, she is very friendly and playful. Please do not give her any food. As Luna is still a puppy she likes to steal and chew shoes... so please keep your shoes safe in your room.
