This house works best for families of 8–14 traveling together — multi-generational trips, family reunions, friend groups, milestone birthdays, or any occasion where your group wants to stay under one roof instead of booking 3–4 hotel rooms. Most of our guests are groups of 10–12 from the mainland (often California and Pacific Northwest) visiting Oahu for 5–7 nights. How Is the Home Laid Out? With 1,582 square feet of step-free living, flexible sleeping arrangements, and peaceful surroundings, it offers a great balance of space, comfort, and value. Is the Home and Neighbourhood Safe? Yes — the community is protected by 24-hour gated security. There are also outdoor security cameras (front door, sides, backyard, driveway), along with one camera in the garage facing the garage door — all outward-facing and there for safety and peace of mind. Makaha Valley is a gated residential community on Oahu's quieter west (leeward) side. There is 24/7 security at the gate. The area is known for reliable sunshine (less rain than Waikiki or the North Shore), uncrowded beaches, and mountain views. It feels more local and residential than the tourist areas — which is exactly what our guests tell us they love about it. Can Visitors Stop By? Absolutely!
