Kuleana is well known for its grounds which are located on seven acres with walkways surrounded by gorgeous plumeria and ironwood trees, all types of hibiscus, ginger, and palms. The Kuleana complex consists of 7 low-rise buildings (no higher than 3 floors). Most locations in Maui require you to drive somewhere, but Kuleana has its own SECRET – a pocket beach, a beautiful little cove situated within the gated grounds. While you will not find coral formations that equal Kapalua Bay (just 2.3 miles north), you will be able to snorkel among schools of reef fish and swim among green turtles without leaving the resort. There is a large, heated swimming pool suitable for lap swimming, a tennis court, a putting green, and a shuffleboard court. In the lanai-like lobby, you will find a ping-pong table, an honor library, an activity booking desk, and reception. There is an on-site coin laundry and free parking. A popular feature of the resort is the four BBQ grill area situated on the ocean’s edge. Standard Cancellation Policy: To receive a full refund, guests must cancel at least 30 days before check-in. If guest cancels between 7 and 30 days before check-in, they will owe 50% for all nights.
