This is a private bedroom suite in a larger historic home. You have gated access to the suite and a shared garden courtyard (between two small guest suites) with a private exterior entrance to your own bedroom suite. You may share walls with other guests but there is no shared interior space. We are always available by phone and typically available in person. We are located 4 blocks from the edge of the French Quarter and another 10-12 blocks from the main area of Bourbon Street. We are located right off Esplanade Avenue which is a gorgeous historic tree lined street. As we are close to the French Quarter, there is a lot going on… meaning lots of foot traffic and people milling about. We would like to also emphasize that our wonderful working class neighborhood is a mixed demographic of all cultures, races, and socioeconomic status. Walking is a great option! We have ample street parking in front of the house on a typical day (not on days like Mardi Gras). There are Nola blue bikes for rent close by. Check the RTA schedule for bus routes. Uber and taxis are plentiful and easy to order. -The Esplanade Garden Suite shares a common courtyard with The French Quarter suite, so you may encounter guests in the shared outdoor space. -We firmly request you maintain quiet hours between 10pm and 9am given the presence of other guests on the property -This property has some stairs and narrow original French Quarter doorways. While everyone is welcome, the space may be too small for all but the narrowest of wheelchairs, and regrettably there are no ramps. Please contact me directly for door measurements for wheelchairs, I will do everything possible to accommodate you. -Exterior security camera are installed on the property for your protection and ours. -We require that you lock the suite when you are gone and the gates at all times (even when present on the property) -no smoking anywhere on the property, indoor or outdoor.
