Aloha and welcome to Hale Ono Loa 303! Hale ono loa means "house of good living" in the Hawaiian language, and that's exactly what you'll find in our condo! Between breathtaking views, a comfortable king sized bed, a communal pool, and countless other amenities, Hale Ono Loa 303 will be your tropical home away from home. ***Please note there is no AC in any of the Hale Ono Loa units.*** The space One bedroom, one bathroom condo. There is a king sized bed in the bedroom, and a pull out queen sofa bed in the living area. Linens are provided for both beds. There is no AC in any of the Hale Ono Loa units, but the cross breeze from the trade winds and the strong ceiling fans will keep you cool and comfortable. Hale Ono Loa is a quiet, low-rise, mid century condo complex that underwent a complete exterior renovation in 2010. Each condo is privately owned and rented independently. It’s a nice mix of full time residents and short term renters. HoL is much more peaceful and laid back than what you’ll find at most resorts, while still being conveniently located to shops, beaches, and restaurants. Guest access You will have access to the entire condo, excluding one small locked closet in the bedroom. You will also have access to the complex’s amenities including the pool, sun deck, grills, laundry rooms, and shuffleboard court. Other things to note Please note that while sometimes, depending on the tides, we do have a small sandy beach in front of our condo complex. It is unpredictable and we cannot guarantee you will have sandy beach access from Hale Ono Loa. However, there is always sandy beach access at the resort next door, called Lokelani. There are no private beaches on Maui, so the public has access to all Maui beaches on the island. Hawaii law states that all land below the high tide mark is automatically owned by the state, so even beaches next to private homes are still open to the public. There is also Honokowai State Beach Park that is fewer than half a mile away from Hale Ono Loa. It has showers, picnic tables, and playground equipment.
