A cozy home in a quiet neighborhood, close to the best sunsets. Bay beaches are within walking distance, ocean beaches are 8 miles away (15 minute drive), restaurants, wineries, breweries, Cape May, Wildwood boardwalk, Cape May-Lewes Ferry all in close proximity. Work from our home and enjoy all the beauty of Cape May County. Also, Cape May is a birders’ paradise, perfectly situated along the Atlantic Flyway. Each spring and fall, it hosts hundreds of species of migrating birds and butterflies. The space Relax, unwind and enjoy this beachy cottage! It's a short walk to the bay beach and the amazing sunsets that Lower Township is known for. There's plenty of room to spread out, including two separate living spaces (one includes a dedicated work space) and a wrap-around back and side deck. One floor living consists of an eat-in kitchen with seating for 6, a bedroom with a queen-size bed and ensuite bathroom, a second bedroom with a full-size bed, and a third bedroom with a twin-over-full bunk bed. Another full bathroom and laundry room with washer and dryer (laundry detergent provided) complete the house. A gas grill sits just off the back deck. There are 6 beach chairs available for guests’ use. We supply hand soap, dish soap and laundry detergent. There’s a starter supply dishwasher detergent, toilet paper and paper towels. ** LINENS AND TOWELS ** Guests have three options: 1 - Guests may use the bed linens, bath towels, and beach towels available in the house; * 2 - Guests may bring their own linens and towels; or 3 - Guests may rent linens and towels. There are several linen rental services that will deliver linens to your house on check in day and pick up linens on check out day. 1 - A to Zebra Rentals 2- Linen Ladies; or 3 - SeaDreams Linens Cape May * If guests choose to use the linens and towels provided by us, please be sure to read “Other Details to Note” under the Description section of the listing page. Guest access The entire house and yard are yours to enjoy, excluding the garage. Other things to note Beach Escape is a 15 minute drive from both Cape May and Wildwood. All guests must be at least 25 years of age, excluding children staying with parents. The outdoor shower is seasonal; available from approx early May until October. LINENS ** If you use the linens and towels we provide, on check-out day, please start sheets on the “Light Wash" setting and put in the dryer when finished. Then start towels in the washer while the sheets are drying. Please understand that we share our cleaning crew with other hosts. The crew has numerous properties to clean between 10 am check-in time and 3 pm check-out time. It’s not possible for them to properly clean their many other properties and do 2 complete loads of laundry from start to finish in that amount of time. You have the option to pay an extra $25 fee to have the sheets and towels washed and dried by the cleaning crew. This fee goes directly to them for their extra trips back to finish the laundry.
