Walk to Magic Sands -3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, sleeps 6, Oceanfront and Gorgeous! Aloha! This is a new listing for a tropical paradise that’s been charming Airbnb guests for years under the same ownership. The review history could not be transferred but rest assured you’ll be booking a known entity, consistently rated outstanding by new and returning guests! Scroll down to see a few excerpts from hundreds of 5-star reviews. Your Kona Beach House sits on the point of a bay with lush tropical landscaping, flowers and palm trees surrounding an oceanfront swimming pool and jacuzzi/spa. RELAX with unobstructed views of the ocean! Our three-bedroom, three baths, luxury two-story home is in a gated oceanfront resort of only 12 free-standing residences. It's one of the closest homes to the ocean so the serenity is not marred by street-noise or house parties. Situated at Kona Onenalo: the complex is four miles south of Kailua-Kona town and one mile north of Keauhou (a golfer's haven). Recent updates include a new smart TV in the living room and new TV in the master bedroom. New rain showers with hand-held showerheads installed in all the showers, and motorized roller sun shades to keep the kitchen and dining room cool during hot tropical afternoons, plus a water filter on the kitchen sink to ensure plenty of fresh drinking water NOTE: there is no central air. As this is a tropical home with open-air louvered windows and strategically placed ceiling and floor fans, there is no need for air conditioning - the nearly constant ocean trade winds fan a breeze from the ocean during the day and from the mountains at night. There are air conditioners in the upstairs master and guest bedroom windows for your added comfort. The main/lower level has travertine floors throughout, one bedroom with two twin beds that can be made up as king (or a couch to serve as a den). The guest rooms are made up with king beds, by default. If you would like twin beds in either room, please let us know. There is also one bath with a shower a short walk from the guest room, a bar area with a mini-fridge, a well-appointed gourmet kitchen with a wine cooler, rich Koa wood cabinets, and with a huge picture window looking directly out to the unobstructed turquoise blue Pacific Ocean where spinner dolphins and whales swim, and gorgeous sunsets sink into the ocean. The dining area also has a large picture window with unobstructed ocean views, and the spacious living room opens to the oceanfront pool and the main lanai where we spend most of our time relaxing. The top level has two spacious bedroom suites. The large master bedroom has a comfortable king bed, looks out to the ocean and has its own separate lanai with a an incredible view -- perfect for an early morning stretch or yoga. The second upstairs bedroom has two twin beds (that can be made into a second king bed if desired). Both upstairs bedrooms have their own private bathroom. The master bathroom has a huge shower with twin shower heads. Your two-story Kona Beach House is about 15 yards (meters) from the surf, and the crashing waves on the lava and beach are best experienced from our two large lanais. You can watch the surfers, the sunsets, or just sit and look at the gorgeous Pacific Ocean. With a nearly constant temperature in the 80s and a cool ocean breeze, your oceanfront Kona Beach House is a tropical dream. This tropical home can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people and there is also a portable baby crib. It is ideal for multi-generation family vacations. The entire complex is no smoking. There is high-speed Internet and a smart TV with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. The architect designed Kona Onenalo with a focus on maximum privacy. With this in mind, there are minimal window coverings to take full advantage of both airflow and views. A few words from our guests: “Absolutely everything about this rental was awesome!” “Best stocked Airbnb I’ve been to…” “Great trip and very responsive host…” “Perfect place with amazing views…” “We saw whales and dolphins right from the balcony…” “Don’t hesitate to book!” Your gated Kona Beach House is RIGHT ON THE OCEAN! Just steps away is a “private” ocean swimming and snorkeling cove with live coral, undersea caves, and magnificent fish & turtles. There is a locked gate that takes you to this cove. (Note: we recommend only experienced ocean swimmers enter this cove as sometimes the surf and surge can be harmful to beginners.) Additionally, there are two great beaches on Ali'i Drive. The first, Magic Sands Beach, is a five-minute stroll from the house and is good for swimming and boogie boarding or board & body surfing. The second, Kahalu'u Beach, a ten-minute walk, usually calm & safe, is great for snorkeling (and shore-entry scuba) and has green sea turtles that can be found feeding and sunning themselves. Just a few things to be aware of: The house is right on the ocean and the ocean can be noisy. If you don't like the sound of waves crashing Your Kona Beach House may not be the right place for you. Also, there is no central air conditioning. There are overhead fans in each room and lots of tropical sea breezes. The master and guest upstairs bedrooms both have air conditioners, however, to ensure a comfortable night's sleep. Lastly, it is the tropics so tropical bugs do enter the house despite us doing our very best to keep them out. It is important to put away food and put out the trash once a day. There is a pack and play available with bedding at no charge. License number STVR 19-361776
