Gorgeous river view. Float-in and out options. Famous Blackfoot River trout fishing out your back door. Beautiful setting only 20 minutes from downtown Missoula. 1 acre lot with lots of outdoor space for families, and friends. The perfect getaway! Unlike other rentals on the lower Blackfoot, this house offers privacy and seclusion from the busy highway 200. You'll enjoy this property spring, summer, fall, and winter. Large green space outside surrounded by lush pine, fir and larch forest. The Blackfoot river is literally 50' away from the house and deck with a spectacular view and direct access to the river. Bedrooms are spacious and there is new carpet throughout. Large, open kitchen and family room with giant picture windows for enjoying the views. Kitchen is fully stocked with spices, baking supplies, utensils, and cookware. You will have everything you need. The large deck is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee while you greet the sun, and it's a beautiful, shady oasis in the evenings. Perfect for escaping the blazing afternoon heat of July and August. Walk upriver, jump in and enjoy the cool and refreshing water of the Blackfoot River and float back down to the house for the perfect afternoon cool-down. If you're here in the fall, winter, or spring, the two wood stoves inside the house create a cozy, cabin like serenity. Wildlife is abundant, with sightings of deer, elk, bear, otters, beavers, eagles, osprey, songbirds, owls, and many others, remind you that this is a wild and scenic place. This is a unique piece of property with just the right amount of privacy, yet quick and easy access to lively Missoula. You will have full access to the house, bunkhouse and the spacious yard. Guests will not be allowed to use the garage, trailer, or sheds. And there is a small portion of the property away from the main house that I utilize to park my boats and re-group after guiding on the river. I am here to help. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to reach out. I occasionally occupy the trailer which is located on the property and will let you know beforehand if I plan on being on the site during your visit. Rest assured, there is plenty of space here and your privacy will be respected. Rainbow Bend Drive is a dead-end road off of Highway 200. There are 4 other, privately owned houses on Rainbow Bend. Neighbors are friendly and helpful. All homes in the neighborhood are secluded and private. Unlike other rentals nearby, our house is secluded from the very busy Highway 200. Plenty of parking in the driveway and upper lawn area. Please do not block the access between the garage and sheds and do not park in areas with no parking signs. Guests can safely walk around the neighborhood. There are a handful of flotation devices on the property. Float tubes, kayaks, etc. are all available for your use with permission. Just let me know you're taking something before you take it, and remember to use them responsibly.
